Are you running stock suspension? I am planning on getting the Sirimoto strut bar first and will possibly do this second. Do you see a noticable difference?
I would personally tighten everything up. Then drill using the bar hole to align the bit as a template. Tightening everything down will help ensure there is no movement or play when drilling.
+Breezy Productions At the moment we do not. We are currently working to release more chassis upgrades in the coming months. Keep an eye out for more upgrades as we release them.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your hardware, but I think you'll have success using a magnet to retrieve it. We've had a couple other customers do this. The hardware is required for the bolts to lock in and stay put. If you have other questions or concerns, please email into customercare@procivic.com.
Its lodged in there and cant move. I tried for about 40 minutes using my fingers and a piece of wire and couldnt even get it to budge. The magnet was less than productive as well. Is there any chance I can get new hardware because I dont think theres anything I can do to get it short of cutting a section out of the frame.
Same problem. Literally all they had to do was make the stem like a half inch longer so there's enough room to hold onto it while you fiddle around in there.
i was wondering if you guys made a template of where to drill a hole for the 2012 civics and one for the cuts on the truck liner if she can you email me the info please
+alex de leon Unfortuantely we do not have a template for this. However, once it is mounted with the other bolts, you will be able to see where the last hole needs to be drilled.
+pob tsuas Lor I would recommend the trunk brace first. This will help keep things balanced. Otherwise, the front will be stiffer than the rear. However, it is entirely up to you on how you wish to upgrade your civic.

These are great, I have the Ultra Racing 4 point front tower strut and trunk brace on my 15 si sedan. Handling is a major upgrade!

I like the lower tie bars also but I'll probably do front and rear last. I love my 15 si sedan👍
Might be buying this soon
Mine just arrived and thanks for the info.
And The Award For Best DIYs Of 2015 Goes To Rudy From ProCivic!
+Edward Peralta Thank you! I will gladly accept this award in Rudy's honor! ;)
So for when drilling the bolt hole for the 2012 should I have the bar mounted and bolts fully tighten or leave the bolts a little loose? @procarstudio

@@DoubleCupRacing that’s a really good point. I’m about to install one and didn’t think of that. So thanks!
what kind of hardware is it
Do they make one for the 8th gen civic si?
As of right now, there is no trunk brace for the 8th gen. I apologize for the inconvenience.
how would you get the red piece out i dropped in there ???? any suggestions
magnet?
Do you have this for the 2016 Civic?
+Breezy Productions At the moment we do not. We are currently working to release more chassis upgrades in the coming months. Keep an eye out for more upgrades as we release them.
How do I get the hardware thing out of the void? I dropped it and can't event feel it now.... I feel like this could have been designed a lot better.

i have dropped the hardware in there i cant get it out. so you guys ended up leaving it in therev?
Same mounting locations as a 12-13 coupe (pre-refresh) as well?
+Joseph Coates It is, but would require a hole to be drilled on the left (Driver side) top mounting point.

will this fit only the si model
+giovanni enziso no, this will fit all trim levels
would you recommend installing both the sirimoto trunk brace as well as the sirimoto phase 2 strut bar or would you just need one?
+Nigel Bradford It would help to strengthen both ends. Putting only one would strengthen that side only
i have the strut bar install so which one is the better choice between trunk brace or front lower tie bar?
+pob tsuas Lor I would recommend the trunk brace first. This will help keep things balanced. Otherwise, the front will be stiffer than the rear. However, it is entirely up to you on how you wish to upgrade your civic.
Ok
Thank you
Does this fit on 2015 Si Coupe?

Do it! I put this on mine with a front strut. Is still a boat, but you'll notice the improvement straight away around corners
Yes or no you??
