First, hear a subject close to my heart. i have recently turned sixty and have experienced the menopause for a long time, but i dont take any meds for it. My hair has gone through the various changes, but I've been able to retain length by keeping to a simple routine if it's not broken, as they say not too much manipulation. Definitely, diet is key and honestly praying. Also, a healthy lifestyle. Thank you so much. i appreciate you for making this video it was needed ❤❤❤
Hi Lindsay. Discovered your informative channel with rich knowledge, luv it! To surprise u i am a man, i have been using tea tree moisturiser & rose water for many yrs now. I know many men find self pampering as feminine but i see this as wholistic for for all humans! Your naturalness is great to watch, western artificial ways are quickly becoming obsolete. I like that u always highlight stress factors as key to balance, Wholistic living is self mastery don't u think? Shine shine on
Hi...love that you are here even as I man. My Husband is one of the Men who love self pampering and wholistic living...so yes..I can totally relate. Keep being you! Thank you so much! Love and Light 🙏🏾
I recently turned 63 and my dr. put me on a regimen of a daily calcium vitamin of 1200 mg and a daily vitamin D3. From my last blood work and a dexa scan she said my bone density is dropping and it's because of menopause. It's only been a couple of weeks and I'm noticing my natural hair isn't shedding as much, so I'm starting to see growth where I had thinning in my crown. Also, I saw a Dove scalp therapy commercial and decided to buy it on Amazon and have started using that in my crown and with these new regimens I believe they are contributing to me keeping more hair on my head. Maybe you could ask your dr. whether you need more vitamin D3 and/or calcium for post menopause. Also give Dove scalp therapy a try. I'm surprised no one is really talking about it but I honestly think it has contributed to my scalp thinning becoming thicker. This was happening before I started the new vitamins.
I would not recommend anything with minoxidil because before I reached menopause I was having thinning in my crown and womens rogaine stripped the hair from my crown. I would apply and rub it in an L shape and that's exactly where I started getting more hair loss that lasted YEARS! It was a true SETBACK to me trying to grow my hair back. Minoxidil IMO is TOXIC and they say once you start it you will have to continue it because once you stop you will lose your hair so to me it's pointless to even start using it.
ThanX for bringing up/out this topic Lindsay. It is very helpful to hear it being spoken about and You are soooo Right when You say our mindset determinez our outcome. Sometimez I have to apologize to my hair for not rehydrating more often! Now I have to add apology for my tardiness in taking the needed supplements: "My Glory - from the bottom of My Heart sorry ooooh!"
We learn and unlearn every day. It's a good thing that you are becoming more mindful of your hair and the things you do for it to keep thriving. Love and Light 🙏🏾
She has videos on this. I think she says for TWA once a week is ok n longer hair is once every 2 weeks. I think she does every 2 weeks or once a month I don't remember and re-moisture every 3 days or something... just watch some videos to be sure and she also has a video on taking care of hair between wash days if you workout
E obrigado 🌹
