Hi Becky! OK, now I'm a believer! I was told by..."Only use mylar that is made for machine embroidery, because anything else will not work in your project." Your project is adorable! Happy Retirement!!
I don’t have an embroidery machine & felt it didn’t pique my interest.... until now! You are a natural teacher ! This project is very 👍. Great job with video angles, step by step instruction & tips❣️
You are such a motivation to me. I recently retired and I'm going to utilize my embroidery machine more. Question would you consider doing shirts with a little longer sleeve, elbow or 3/4 length. I'm in love with your shirt but I have ugly fat upper arms so a little longer sleeve is my friend. Thanks. Enjoy retirement.
I used Embrilliance Essentials to enlarge only the outer stitch line so that it is covered by the hoop and it was only by about 1/4". The design itself stayed the same.
I don’t see if I should hoop poly mesh or tear away and I did see if my directions to place the woven mesh on the back?.. is this a good idea and if so which ones do you do it for? AND...where can I find other videos on these ornaments. I just found you today and thank you for sharing
Hi Karen, you'll want to put the iron on stabilizer on the back if there is dense stitching. It really prevents the puckering. The type of stabilizer in the hoop is identified in the box labeled Materials Needed at the beginning of each design. Thanks for watching!
These are so stinkin' cute. Guess I know what the Christmas ornament for the family will be this year. Will you be showing how much you increased the circle in Embrilliance for those of us who can only find the 4" hoops?
My instructions aren’t being delivered until September 11, but I’m sure I can get this done when it arrives. I’ve had my embroidery machine for a long time and never used it. Thank you.
@@janelbrieske1862 yes! I was with you when you bought your duck billed scissors. Looks like you will be putting them to good use again with these adorable ornaments
I'll be releasing a video on how to enlarge them. I only enlarged the outer stitch lines (placement, tack down, and final stitch). I left the design the same. I did all this in Embrilliance Essentials. Yes, you can enlarge the entire design in your Dream 2. You might be able to just enlarge just the outer stitches in the Embroidery Edit mode but I'm not sure. I'd be afraid that if you enlarged the outer stitches just big enough so they are hidden under the outer hoop, the entire design might be too big for the hoop. Be sure to test.
Not quite yet. Monday, 31 Aug 20 is my last official day in Civil Service. But I turned my laptop in already so I'm just waiting for the clock to run out. 1 Sep 20 I'll be officially retired. :)
Good job. Looks like you will be a natural at this teaching gig, so no worries about wondering what to do in retirement. Yeah! "Go sew somethin'!"
I just finished this one. I can't wait for the next design...
That is so cute❣️✂️🧵🥰 thanks for sharing💕
Love watching these videos! Beautiful project! I wish a fairy godmother would gift me an embroidery machine. See you next time.
Will have to try and make these into a tree skirt and Christmas stockings. Wouldn't those be sooo cute? 🎄
Thank you, and congrats on your newly retirement. love all your inspirations and all you do for us crafters, quilters
Very cute idea.
Bought these a month ago. I’m all done except for the 3 kings. Going to finish that one today. I’m keeping them for myself.

@@PowerToolsWithThread Becky, You made my day!
This looks great! They would make lovely gifts too! You are definitely teaching me about all things about embroidery!
None of the stores in my area have it.... will have to buy it off of Etsy or Amazon

Thank you for your kind words. I'll check with my shirt supplier to see if shirts with longer sleeves are an option. Thanks for watching!
What a cute fast project, thanks Becky.
Hi Becky, I received the Good Morning Mugs table runner kit today. It’s Nice! Thanks for showing it on your channel. 😀
Hope you like it!
What is the weight of your bobbin thread, please? There are a couple of choices when I click on your Amazon link
Shame on you, you make me want to buy an embroidery machine LOL. Happy retirement. Love all your tutorials
How much did you enlarge your design and how did you enlarge? Love your videos.
I used Embrilliance Essentials to enlarge only the outer stitch line so that it is covered by the hoop and it was only by about 1/4". The design itself stayed the same.
When will you be showing the other ornaments in this Kimberbell CD?
I'll be doing all the rest before Dec 1, 2020.

So cute
Will you be demonstrating more Christmas designs? I am very new to machine embroidery, and would like to learn more things to how to make things.
Yes I will
These are so stinkin' cute. Guess I know what the Christmas ornament for the family will be this year. Will you be showing how much you increased the circle in Embrilliance for those of us who can only find the 4" hoops?
Yes!
Do you happen to know if your prewound bobbins would work on the solaris
Yes! The Solaris is just EXACTLY like the Luminaire and they work perfectly. :-)
Love these!
Lovely!!

Janel, didn't I meet you at the expo in Lakeland, Fl a few years back?
Laurie Ginsburg yup I was there!
We stayed together didn’t we?

How would I enlarge the embroidery pattern to fit the 4" hoop? Can I enlarge in my Brother Dream 2? Also, love your videos
