Just wanted to show what the truck is capable of and it's very! Not the easiest to jump though...have to know how to hold the throttle but you know how it is!😉But you are right, Must have been some serious testing from Arrma. Killer design all the way around. A M2C chassis and braces and talk about an indestructible rig!🤣😎🤘🤘💪👊🍻

Amazing how it handles the pothole terrain like it aint shit. Fuck the platinum slash I was gonna get until I seen the talion perform. Now this! I was torn between maxx, udr and this. I think mohave is the best choice for durability. Only think maxx can take better is crash into wall being lighter and more flexible all plastic but this trumps all rc trucks
I have this and it has been so fun to drive. I have broken the body mounts and the front bumper mount but it is pretty tough. Funnest truck to drive and I have had a lot, including the udr, xmaxx, alll slashes, others. Handling and scale look is sooo good. Just bought a clear body to do my own trophy truck scheme.
Hold on now! This new bad boy IS ArrmaTough 💪💪💪!! Surprising air control at 14# up weight. Love the way it (as you said) "hovers" over serious rough terrain. Upping that pinion just a hair is very noticeable as well. Impressive beast and I see why Arrma mgmt mentions that it could be one of their best yet. They keep getting stronger and if this is any indication of what can be done on an even bigger scale 1:5 (x***x killer) basher, I'm ready to pre-order as soon as announced. Christmas 2019 would be one to remember.

Had the rear suspension mounts (aluminum) cracked on mine rf and rr after a few hard sends. Body mounts cracked, plastic front chassis brace top screw found its way out. It took a hell of a beating to get it their. Simple fix and cheap upgrades.
That's amazing that it took the beatings you gave it bone stock! 😱😱 It's very nice to see an RTR that you don't have to upgrade right out of the box 👍 I have only driven two such trucks and it totally justifies the cost 😃 Hopefully Arrma has more up their sleeve with the 1/7 scale chassis 🤩

Hard to summarise what I just saw... Few words come to mind, but one stands out - AMAZING! Probably over used to the point where it loses its meaning, but seeing this truck take this much abuse and only come away with a couple of damaged body posts, "amazing" is the only word I can think of to describe this video. Arrma definitely did some homework on this truck for it to take a beatdown from you and still drive away wanting a battery change. Haha. PS: Mine arrived today... ;)

to stop the plastic parts from snapping you should drench them in wd40 and leave them over night to soak and drench and when you use it again it will flex rather than break (good places front and rear bumper, shock towers and a arms.

Vented tires? I hope Arrma didnt put holes in the rubber...HUGE mistake if so. After 1000's of sand/desert runs Ive found tires have to be completely sealed. Even have to squeeze tires to make sure air doesnt push out from tears or failing beads. Fix beads asap. What happens is sand gets behind foam, doesnt exit and/or moves foam around, and tires get too unbalanced to use at high speeds. Maybe ok for "desert like" guys but wont be able to even attempt in the real desert, I know what will happen. Learned the hard way lol. Anyway maybe theres no holes in rubber idk??
Yes vented means holes in the rubber and sealed rims. Any water dirt etc. Gets thrown out by centrifugal force and also help with ballooning. Air isn't sucked in with nowhere to go. Imo vented tires are the way to go and have worked well in all my other rigs.😎💪🤘🤘👊

Plus cant expect tire lazt as long But all how where how much with rcs theoretically wheels are cheap and not bead locks plus using on a beach type dunes no need to vent as sand is soft and gives
Just fill the holes with shoe goo. But I wouldn't, what I have found is its best for the tires to breathe on a basher truck. If you seal the tire it'll just make your suspension too hard to tune aka too bouncy. My two cents😁

What is your strategy to limit drive train shock right before the truck hits the ground? Do you let the throttle go to neutral, add a bit of partial throttle or do you try to match the speed of the truck?
Well it's hard to explain..sometimes there is no way around it to be on throttle on landings but Its usually a feathering situation. On the other 6s rigs I always run one extra external bearing shim against the front/rear case to mesh the ring and pinion tighter. I usually dont have any issues after that. So far, the Mojave drivetrain is holding up nice. It's a super tough rig!😎👊💪🤘🤘
Cool video as always! Been thinking about totally different stuff (big rock Vs Maxx). But this Mojave looks cool and found it cheaper than a Maxx here in UK .. is it as tough as the maxx? I don't care if some plastic breaks taking into account the ESC in the maxx apparently breaks quite a lot and it's a more expensive fix... Not sure which one I should get as my only (not first) RC car...

I replaced my shock towers and chasis braces on my Outcast 6s to make it more durable. I hope that this one doesn't need that. Just to save the consumer some $. Those things are pricy to upgrade. Wow your chasis on this thing has taken a freaking beating! Amazing! Now we need a 1/7 Kraton and Outcast that have the same components as this monster here!

Have you hit it with a heat gun after your runs yet?? I'm curious to see what the motor and ESC temp is after a serious run like that. How did the bearings hold up? I have serious issues with bearings in the UDR..... it's ridiculous!!
Nah I should have. I had it in my pocket but was just having too much fun!🤣Never had a thermal shutdown though either bash. It's also been in the 90's out. The bearings did fine. Just cleaned and oiled the truck after every run. I'll probably eventually go sealed bearings.😎👊🤘🤘

On my Mojave blx it only came with one shim on the ring gear side of the rear diff. I’ve been told adding another one will tighten up the gear mesh and I’m not sure if I want that. What are the pros and cons of adding another?
I run 30k, 200k, stock 10k front to back. I like the open diff action of the Mojave so I don't go too thick. You could also go 50k or 60k up front and 20 or 30k rear with 200k center. That is kind of a standard bash setup for the 6s rigs.
What is it about stadium trucks that make me so confident? I feel like i can beet the hell out of them more than any other truck or monster truck. Maybe because it chassis slaps before anything can break? Like shocks and aarms? I feel like i can jump them off a cliff then i drive my monster trucks half as hard

Maybe ok for "desert like" guys but wont be able to even attempt in the real desert, I know what will happen. Learned the hard way lol. Anyway maybe theres no holes in rubber idk??
Yes vented means holes in the rubber and sealed rims. Any water dirt etc. Gets thrown out by centrifugal force and also help with ballooning. Air isn't sucked in with nowhere to go. Imo vented tires are the way to go and have worked well in all my other rigs.😎💪🤘🤘👊

Just fill the holes with shoe goo. But I wouldn't, what I have found is its best for the tires to breathe on a basher truck. If you seal the tire it'll just make your suspension too hard to tune aka too bouncy. My two cents😁

What is your strategy to limit drive train shock right before the truck hits the ground? Do you let the throttle go to neutral, add a bit of partial throttle or do you try to match the speed of the truck?
Well it's hard to explain..sometimes there is no way around it to be on throttle on landings but Its usually a feathering situation. On the other 6s rigs I always run one extra external bearing shim against the front/rear case to mesh the ring and pinion tighter. I usually dont have any issues after that. So far, the Mojave drivetrain is holding up nice. It's a super tough rig!😎👊💪🤘🤘
Got a couple of 1/7 & 1/6 that I take out now and again, my mojave every time, just because it takes everything you throw at it.
Cool video as always! Been thinking about totally different stuff (big rock Vs Maxx). But this Mojave looks cool and found it cheaper than a Maxx here in UK .. is it as tough as the maxx? I don't care if some plastic breaks taking into account the ESC in the maxx apparently breaks quite a lot and it's a more expensive fix... Not sure which one I should get as my only (not first) RC car...

Beautiful man. Keep up the good work master basher! My Outcast 6s is almost ready for bashing after a 90% rebuild! So you think Arrma has stepped up the chasis and towers? I replaced my shock towers and chasis braces on my Outcast 6s to make it more durable. I hope that this one doesn't need that. Just to save the consumer some $. Those things are pricy to upgrade. Wow your chasis on this thing has taken a freaking beating! Amazing! Now we need a 1/7 Kraton and Outcast that have the same components as this monster here!

Same battery tray as the other 6s trucks. I've been using Power Hobby packs. Either 2x 6500 100C 3s packs or my single 5200 50C 6s.😎

Nah I should have. I had it in my pocket but was just having too much fun!🤣Never had a thermal shutdown though either bash. It's also been in the 90's out. The bearings did fine. Just cleaned and oiled the truck after every run. I'll probably eventually go sealed bearings.😎👊🤘🤘

On my Mojave blx it only came with one shim on the ring gear side of the rear diff. I’ve been told adding another one will tighten up the gear mesh and I’m not sure if I want that. What are the pros and cons of adding another?
2 shims will tighten the mesh a tad and help prevent stripped gears. I usually always add one extra especially after the gears get worn in.

What diff oils weights do you run or suggest? 👍🏻
I run 30k, 200k, stock 10k front to back. I like the open diff action of the Mojave so I don't go too thick. You could also go 50k or 60k up front and 20 or 30k rear with 200k center. That is kind of a standard bash setup for the 6s rigs.

What is it about stadium trucks that make me so confident? I feel like i can beet the hell out of them more than any other truck or monster truck. Maybe because it chassis slaps before anything can break? Like shocks and aarms? I feel like i can jump them off a cliff then i drive my monster trucks half as hard
And the smaller wheels are kept within the body.. -my conclusion.
