The stock hexes are too short, causing the wheel to hit the hub. M2c makes +2 hexes to prevent that. Put some talion katars on it and go hit that jump. You might be surprised at what that truck does 👍
I wouldn't ever run that thing on anything less then 8s! That thing soaks up the bumps and the gear ratio in the front differential it's perfect to keep the front tires from ballooning. I would set it up strictly for 8s cool video. Would like to see more videos of it running like that
That's cool.....when things start opening up maybe race it around a short course would be interesting to see it in some turns and jumps......keep up the content.
That's awesome! I knew this truck would benefit for a bigger motor but 8s 😱 The reason the wheel nuts keep spinning off is because the hubs are right up to the inside of the wheel. You need about a 2mm wider hex and it stops that issue 👍
Awesome man!!🤙🏽 Maybe an idea to paint the wheelnuts bright red or something. Just to be able to spot them easier in the grass or dirt when you lose them.👍🏼👌🏽

Hmm... My stock Mojave motor and ESC gets up around 180°F (I would post up thermal images if could add them to comments). I'm guessing the massive heat sink + fan is the only reason 8S is even remotely possible. But it was nice to see what it could do with a bit more juice. Just not sure it's worth the squeeze since the stock system seems to get roughly the same top end.
@@timt1346 less heat, less motor bearing issues, bigger motor runs easier ( usually ) I've also put in the Vitavon diff cases to keep the gears alive.
