14:31 is "It's Just Like Hearing It From a Friend" was written for WJW-TV in 1972. I grew up in Cleveland and became aware of this company as a teenager. Most themes on this demo are for WJW-TV (WJKW-TV). Anything after 1978 would be WJKW-TV until the sale in the 80s. I have a billboard wrapped up in my garage of the It's Just Like Hearing It From a Friend campaign. Frank was and still is my friend. At 11:22 is the generic version of WDTN's "A Great Day" resing for my high school TV station in 1978 by Frank. A nice man and wonderful composer. The company started as Nintondo Productions/Cleveland. Station Concepts was the next company name in Cleveland. When he was based in Connecticut, he used his name, Frank Gari Productions. The rest is history. I have been collecting his music since I saw the animation sequence for Catch 5 in 1972 when I was 10 years old. I witnessed all this stuff in real time on WEWS, WJW, WKYC and WUAB, including ABC Television I have my personal tapes. Frank's company was so nice. What a musical ride. I am forever grateful.
Huge fan of Gari’s work. These are some of his best works from the early years. Like you, some of this material was new to me as well. Thanks for sharing these lost treasures. We all need to transfer our reels, as you can hear here, the fidelity failing on these old magnetic transfers. Also, had no idea Gari composed the Donahue theme. Cheers, Cyle!
It has become very interesting to hear these old themes and jingles that were once so well liked, and synonymous with the corresponding station. And with the nature of the business, we get lost in the “what’s next” and many forget the importance of archiving.
0:00 "Come on Along with ABC" was, at that point, my favorite network campaign. (Then of course "Be There" came along the next year and took network campaigning to another level.) I always loved "Come on Along with ABC". The full 3-minute version, and the accompanying music video, was just a fantastic tour-de-force.
I could see WESH-2 in Orlando doing a First Warning Weather promo using WBZ’s One 4 All cut at 1:32 for a retro promo. It would work the same way KWQC recently did one to promote Their weather coverage. I should also mention that WESH-2 used the One 4 All from 1987 to 1992.
13:30 - I thought Klein& had a handle on "The Best Things in Life are 3" - ruclips.net/video/TigBe2A3t3o/видео.html - I didn't know Frank Gari made a version of the WFSB CBS 3 promo
It was made in 1974 when WFSB changed its call sign from WTIC-TV. The Klein& jingle was made in 1978. By 1981, WFSB returned to Gari to commission a customized version of "You Sure Look Like a Winner/The One for All/The News Series"; WFSB's version was "The One and Only TV3".

I thought Don Grady composed the Donahue Show theme
0:00 ABC (1982)
1:03 WLS-TV (1980)
1:32 WBZ-TV (1980)
2:01 Evening/PM Magazine (Early 80s)
3:03 Showtime (1982)
4:19 Donahue (1979)
4:39 Walt Disney Home Video International (1983)
5:07 Evening/PM Magazine (Early 80s)
5:41 WJZ-TV (1981)
6:11 ABC (1981)
7:13 WEWS-TV (1970)
8:18 WKYC-TV (Mid/Late 70s)
9:19 WJKW-TV (1976)
10:22 WBAY-TV (Mid/Late 70s)
11:22 WTAE-TV (Mid/Late 70s)
12:25 KBHK-TV (Late 70s)
13:30 WFSB-TV (1974)
14:31 WJKW-TV (1972)
15:32 WHIO-TV (1977)
16:34 WKYC-TV (1973)
The second to last theme sounds like the theme to The World of People.
4:19 is Donahue
4:39 is also the intro to Walt Disney on CBS from 1981: ruclips.net/video/sb_ddSYjS3s/видео.html
15:32 is WHIO from 1977.
And 16:34 may also be WKYC.
Gari’s jingles have inspired me since 2020
Thank you
@MOLLYMCGEEMEMES So you responded to yourself?
@@davidsharp3110 sorry, sometimes i have a whole lot of personallities and sometimes i could be crazy when it comes to the great selection of jingles.
I just updated the facts.

I'm surprised the WKYC/WTVH "You've Got A Friend" package isn't represented in this reel.
Took me a minute to find a clip of it, and that is a great campaign. Spirit of Tampa Bay is another Gari banger.
@@cyledickens6hope to find it soon.
