    Magnus simply won by centralising his pieces and taking space. This goes to show how well he has mastered the chess principles. He made it look very easy. Vidit tried to put great resistance. It was a great game from both the sides!

    This has become one of my favorite matches to watch of Magnus playinig. Vidit looks lazer focused on one side like hes the chess 007, while the drip from Magnus is pure World Class Brainpower and you can tell he's out for blood. I enjoyed a lovely blunski too right before I watched this but still that was a badass game

    Another Epic Grind by Magnus and these moves by both players WAY over my head. The only predictable moves Magnus made in general to me were when he kept darting around with his Queen but THEN returning her to the Center keeping control of the Center the way he always does 'in general' It is rare to me to even see Magnus dart around with his Queen like that but predictable to see him immediately bring her back to the Center (after she did her job and collected a pawn) and as so often he seems to do, he tends to keep almost all of his pieces protecting each other in some form or fashion as he grinds away at these Eoic Endgames which he always makes l'ook so easy." That his pawns seemed scattered and gave the impression of easy targets eventually if he misplayed enough along the way seemed rare and it seemed rare to see Magnus attack with his King's protective pawns 'so early' in a game like this and also equally rare to see his pawns scattered all over the board like that in the middle game much less the bizarre King Walk he used which in combination with slowly marching his King and pawns forward while being checked all over the place slowly but surely making a bit more progress with each move (reminding me a bit of that famous game he won vs Nepo after Magnus gave up his Queen for both of Nepo's Rooks and Nepo kept tossing Queen checke at Magnus as Magnus slowly but surely made his way forward with his King, a few pawns and a Knight...That was an insane endgame as well) It was extremely hard for me to even detect (at first glance as we enjoyed the helpful analysis) where his opponent went wrong; His opponent made moves that while complicated also made sense from start to finish. Magnus is just the same amazing super strong player he has always been and it seems like no one has been able to reach the strength and level of play that Magnus has possessed for many years now 'over all and just in general." It was an exciting game by both players! Thanks and congrats to both! Great fun entertaining chess!

    Can we get a commentator who does not know chess? The current commentary sucks because I don't like him moving the chess pieces. It's a rapid game. Players make fast moves but the commentator is busy with his stupid analysis that sucks.

    • @andrewneedham3281
      @andrewneedham3281 Месяц назад

      Yeah, there was one rough spot in this game where the commentary was still playing "What if?" while the players had already gone something like three moves beyond and in a completely different direction than the commentary supposed. That part was a little frustrating. But the commentary was mostly clean, and I'm happy to get the free chess match.
