I tell you, thank you for being so detailed in explaining how you do things. I can help a lot of people now because of you. And I always love “take a look at that” and “Let’s give it a try “!!!
I only have a 2 burner, but while I'm getting toppings ready on 1/2 I'm heating up a skillet on the other side. Before crust is 1/2 way done the skillet goes on top to brown the cheese.
Excellent videos, I am new to Blackstone cooking and loving it. I have a 22 inch griddle and have used it often from pancakes to bacon wrapped venison steaks, awesome tool. Just wondering how I could acquire one of those hats. I live in Manitoba, Canada and have not seen any tours to promote the Blackstone products. Please assist if possible. Richard

YAY!!!!! Until I figure out how to get the pizza oven, and not “perturb” the park mgmt over placement on my home’s slab, this’ll be a great TRY for me… hope I do the dough properly! Good you’re drinking that water!!!! See that on hat you!! Hope I can get this year’s hat to add to my collection!
Response to @7:23 : I would have no problem believing that this pizza was cooked on a Blackstone griddle, just by looking at it. Actually, with the well-done bottom and no browning on the top, use of an oiled griddle and crust contributed greatly to that undesirable outcome. Way too much oil used in cooking the crust and veggie toppings... good thing that you precooked the sausage or the greasiness would be off the charts. Not bad for a first effort, but not a prize winner either. Looks edible onscreen, but as a longtime pizzaiolo, I would do almost *everything* differently, even on a Blackstone griddle. Keep working at it and you might come up with something more closely resembling a traditional pizza.
You’re a legend with the griddle, but that’s not a pizza. If you’re ever in the Ventura area, I’ll make you a Cosacca pizza (look it up) baked in 45 seconds. It’ll change your life.😁
