I’m from St.Maarten, that’s was so amazing to see the island beauty. Brought a tear to my eye, haven’t been back in about 10 years but being able to see it again was great! Thank you for always sharing with us! This one was very special! Hope you guys had a great time.❤

11:05 I’ve been inside that Star Wars museum. I think it was around 2009. I recommend it to anyone who likes Star Wars. Not very big but plenty of things to see. 👍🏻
I’m sure it is tough doing islands w little kids. We did this itinerary April 2022 with our daughter who was 11 at the time and we rented these cute little open air vehicles and they gave us a map, marked which way to go, and we were off..and it was AMAZING. We r around the whole island and saw so much ! I was proud of us for stepping outside our comfort zone.

if you ever have a chance to go to St. Martin again you have to go to the French side of the island. Probably some of the best beaches on the island
Loved this video! I don't know if you guys realized it, but Sint Maarten is actually part of my home country, The Netherlands. Hence the 'weird' spelling of its name in Dutch. We actually share the island with France, the north side is French and there it is called "Saint Martin". I am happy you liked it there!
My first tropical vacation was to the French side. It was wonderful.

Kinda a bummer you had such a short time in St.Martin. We have been there 3 times. It is our favorite Caribbean island. If you go again we could give you many tips.

Did you ever tell your cabin person about the swimsuit? Somewhere on that ship is someone who is very sorry they put their suit on the veranda railing to dry.

Pirate night always looks like so much fun! I'm so glad that your trip to the beach turned around to be a positive experience. Watching Jackson ride down that waterslides will never get old. They do grow up Very fast. My Son Shares a Birthday with Jackson. My son is 3yrs Older. I'm hoping they can meet each other when I make it to Disney again

I usually don't watch the cruise vlogs. I've worked for Holland America Line as a naturalist for a few seasons and its usually too much ptsd (kinda) ;) I can't get over that suite though. Imagine having that beautiful forward facing balcony, more impressive than even all the space.

Just got back from a cruise in Wonder of the seas. Spoke to a lot of yanks on the ship who stayed on the ship and were too scared to get off the ship and check out the islands. Citing ‘not wanting to deal with pickpockets and scammers’

If you guys ever go back to Sint Maarten, I’d highly recommend taking a taxi over to the French side, which is still touristy, but not nearly as much as the Dutch side, where the ships dock. There’s a great town called Marigot with high end shopping and restaurants, and absolutely gorgeous beaches. My family used to go to the French side regularly. The resort we stayed at is no longer there, but we spent lots of time exploring outside the resort as well.

Love you guys videos for an FYI if you ever go back there's a nice Beach walkable has a nice boardwalk as well if you go right out from the port you make a right and it's a few minutes away we Cruise there in June it was amazing 🤩

Have you seen Speed 2? The island and harbor area was in the final scenes. At least your ship docked safely. Can't afford all that but maybe the cheapest dinky cabin.

When my mom and I visited St. Maarten, we took an island tour of both the Dutch side ( where the ship docks ) & the French side. 😎👍
Hi! This is Holly. We visited St. Maarten several years ago. We stayed at a lovely resort. The day we arrived there was like a party atmosphere we lots of people from cruise ships coming ashore. The next couple of days, though, it was like a ghost town w nothing open because no cruise ships were in port. It was a struggle to find dining. I think we ate several meals at McDonald's.
Every cruise my Aunty goes on, she always takes the stairs. I couldn’t do that, I was in a literal food coma on both cruises I went on with her 🤣
Sad you didn't get to go check out the airport beach. It's a really cool experience.

Eastern cruise I thought was Tortola and St Thomas. Why St Maarten? It's beautiful and I would love to see that too. The water in St Maarten was so pretty!! Jackson (and Tim) love the Aquaduct! Great video!

If you make it back to St Maarten, don’t do an excursion but DO go see Yoda Guy Movie Museum in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. One of the creators of some of the most incredible movie creatures lives and operates a small museum and shop. You can get it done in an hour or less depending on how long you want to linger over the exhibits. It’s TINY but mighty and I got a selfie with him and he signed our Yoda print!
