Thanks for the showcase @XehrFelrose Always appreciate the candid commentary, you're very gentle with the critique :). FYI the body slam at the end into the basti for was for BM purposes, because that pokemon sucks. Quite a showcase of misunderstanding how to play matchups, and a few crucial mistakes in terms of safe swaps, and a boomer swap of the vig into the Skarm. I hope other trainers can learn from this video, and wish everyone the best for the rest of the season!
First time viewer here. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate how you represent which moves are normal tm / elite tm. It's not something I've seen before, but is so much more concise than some of the other representations online.
@quickler1959 sorry, I was referring to using the pics of the different tm types. Guess my comment didn't mention that part. I think using the pics of the different tms is more visual coherent than an asterisk. And that's when they even remember to mark it with one lol.
I also noticed this dude. I thought I was the only one. It just seemed like he didn’t really want to record the video and then the usual enthusiasm came back towards the end of the video.
@@alanguillen1779 I appreciate you guys for your honesty. I think the negative outlook on the game was still in my head when I recorded this one. Will make note if it, many thanks to you guys 😊
Skeledirge, Whiscash and Gligar is probably the most consistent for me. Sometimes I’ll have Skeledirge on the lead and other times I’ll have it in the back… depending on what I’m seeing in the meta. Other than that… I’d say teams that you or Chillis recommends are very consistent.
I used vigo lead or safe for a good portion of sets this season. As a lead i saw annihilape time and time again. As a safe I always ended up with a fighter on it. These guys play vigo on the swap and at most draw a gligar.. 😂😂
I have been running Vig on the lead with a back line of Feraligatr and Skeledirge. Safe swap majority of the time is Feraligatr unless they bring in a Grass, Fairy or Electric type. Just reached Veteran and mostly positive sets with this lineup. I’ll run Skarmory occasionally in place of Feraligatr or sometimes Vig.

Shielding that bubble beam hurt my soul 😂😅
I had it happen to me a few days before I recorded it. I absolutely felt the pain all over again.
Thanks for the showcase @XehrFelrose

If it was for BM purposes then we approve of those. 👌 Thanks for the submission as always!

most content creators do actually :) The Elite TM moves are indicated with an asterisk (*)

@cocoachrispies oh I see. I misunderstood what you said 😅 my bad bro I was just trying to be helpful haha
@@quickler1959 no worries! My comment wasn't clear.
I really appreciate that feedback! That was my intent when I began adding the TM icons so I am glad to hear that it is helpful!
The energy in this video is slightly different at the beginning, then it comes back again. But as usual, best channel for this type of content.
Would be very interested to hear your thoughts on how the energy felt different, whether good or bad. :)

@@XehrFelrose thank you man. And don’t worry we’re all only human so we’re going to have our good and bad days

A fellow Dirge appreciator 🤝
Skeledirge is fire in this meta literally speaking! I run it with Feraligatr and Vig. Mostly positive sets. Skarmory is my replacement for Feraligatr.
I try this team; 1 to 2 wins, rest are hard counters. Every time!
I just got great honestly. Maybe works at lower, but overall not a super good team
Honestly for me right now I'm having a similar experience in all leagues with any team I try. Hopefully an upswing is coming for both of us!
That’s cuz people come to RUclips and instead of copying the team they build a counter team.

I would get Aped 11/10 times 💀
Why water pulse instead of ice? Just curious...
If I had to guess for better Aslash matchups. Usually its a preference thing
It's also incredibly boring
Meta teams do be like that sometimes
