Chef RV, what you did is escabeche. The difference between sarciado is that sarciado doesn’t have any vinegar, garlic, ginger and sugar added to it. Additionally, sarciado has eggs added to it.

Hi Chef! I am from Pagsanjan Laguna. Sa amin po magkaiba ang sarciado and escaveche. Ang sarciado mostly kamatis ginisa with garlic and onion. We dont use ginger. Nilalagyan ng konting sugar lang para may konting tamis. For the alat, patis/salt. Pepper to taste. Ang escaveche po sa amin ay parang achara. Wala pong kamatis. Green papaya po ang main ingredients, with luya, garlic and onion. Also with carrots, and red bell pepper. With vinegar and sugar and salt and pepper. Share ko lang. 🤣 Proud Lagunaenos. 😍

Tama ka Nanay Le Creuset is very very heavy !, mabigat lalo sa atin may arthritis ang mga kamay😬😬😬 when I use mine - my husband is here at home to carry or lift the lids😊 Le Creuset are all an investments but I use my Cuisinart as my every day use
