When u buy and sale their is difference in buying price may be your capital get loss depends on bonds and sometimes coupon Rates r high so when u pay higher price you get same as issued price

Bond tenure is almost 10+ year, no benifit of compounding, only yearly interest gets credited
You can get compounding by adding more units of same bonds using the interest credited
