      In a similar way, Economics professors should be the world richest people but that's not the case. There a specific place for everybody. Some people share their knowledge and some don't. Some people can explain way better than Tanmay Bhat but they won't be teaching anyone for free. I know someone who makes a lot of money trading but he doesn't own a RUclips channel and I'm sure he owns much more than the famous youtubers who talk about investing/trading. Please don't try to deviate others by using random quotes

      @@grvd. Economic teachers and stock experts are not in the same criteria to even compare. A teacher is only expert in syllabus , which they di pretty good, They need not to be the financial gurus. Where as, a stock expert, should be an expert in buying stocks low and sell high... Which they failed to do themselves or what they promise is just bogus scams using strategies and excel.

    Good content 🙂. But problem with this filter is you get large caps . But basically you need to target small and mid caps , if you are going for 10 years of hold !
    Iske piche ka funda - agar stock insaan hota , to ek batcha 1 feet se 6 feet ja sakta( small cap) but ek 6 feet ka aadmi 6 feet me stagnant ho jata ( large caps )
    10 rupees stock can go 100 (10x) in short time . But it takes time for a 2000 rupees stock to grow to 4000(2x) 🌚

      @@ugichapla I agree. But with the situation of the pandemic , people are not able to network face to face. Their next best option is to connect virtually with communities . I personally am a college student and was wondering about how uneducated I am about personal finance . It's a much needed skill for the current generation.

    I'm super new to investing so bear with me if my question is a little dumn. But with my fresher level salary, investing 1 lakh into a company is just impossible rn. So how much do you think is a good minimum investment to start at when looking at building a Coffee Can portfolio?

    • @piyushsharma5177

      The whole idea is just to start. If you start now and invest whatever amount you have, later when you are doing well, you can invest more. You don't wanna lose out on the potential income even if your investment is low or not a life changing investment.

    1. Revenue growth of 10%+ over last 10 years.
    2. RoE & RoCE both more than 15% over years.
    RoE= Net Income/ Shareholders' Equity (which is Asset - Liability)
    if Liabilities too high, then Shareholders Equity too small, which in turn makes RoE very high...but this can be misleading
    RoCE= Earning before interest & taxes/ Capital Employed
    Friend Warren: if RoE & RoCE very close to each other...best thing

      Don't invest in penny stocks. Beginners are not skilled to understand the volatility of such stocks. Invest in large-mid cap reliable stocks..you can actually invest in these stocks after doing your own diligence..start small..also don't trade, invest today and forget it..unless it facing losses..keep track of market news..most stock advice videos ain't reliable anyway.

      Exit oil companies bro. They don't have a future because crude oil and such are limited on earth and they will eventually run out and not affordable. We already import way too much fossil fuels. Thats the main reason we are slowly switching to EVs, wind turbines and solar power. These will be made more and more with time.
      If you want to stick to power sector, a better idea is to move that money to a company in a growing industry rather than a stagnating one like fossil fuels. Even sugar & alcohol stocks are a better buy then ONGC because those companies will be providing ethanol for clean fuel as per govt plan to blend ethanol with petrol in future. I would suggest to invest in power companies with growth in green energy production in past few years. If someone reads this after 10 years, give me a reply, so I can see how well I predicted lol.

    There might be a mistake. The CCP states that every year, ROCE >= 15% and not 10 years average more than 15%. A 10year ROCE >= 15% does not guarantee that ROCE >= 15% every year.

    • @pizzacon5836
      @pizzacon5836 2 года назад

      I don't think so. A lot of companies have ups and downs. So in the end very good years and very bad years average out to the number.

    • @ashishrjain_
      @ashishrjain_ 2 года назад

      @@pizzacon5836 Agreed, but the CCP thesis is essentially to find out companies that are financially consistent. In the book it is mentioned that it's supposed to be every year. Now how we as investors want to define a financially good company is totally up to us.
