In a similar way, Economics professors should be the world richest people but that's not the case. There a specific place for everybody. Some people share their knowledge and some don't. Some people can explain way better than Tanmay Bhat but they won't be teaching anyone for free. I know someone who makes a lot of money trading but he doesn't own a RUclips channel and I'm sure he owns much more than the famous youtubers who talk about investing/trading. Please don't try to deviate others by using random quotes
@@grvd. Economic teachers and stock experts are not in the same criteria to even compare. A teacher is only expert in syllabus , which they di pretty good, They need not to be the financial gurus. Where as, a stock expert, should be an expert in buying stocks low and sell high... Which they failed to do themselves or what they promise is just bogus scams using strategies and excel.
@@grvd. My point was investing/trading perhaps anything in life is not a piece of cake. You can't become an overnight Millionaire by watching Tanmay talk about investing. The sheer amount of time that you need to put in, educating yourself about the markets in incomparable to watching these videos.

Venturing into the forex/stock without an adequate orientation with a professional broker for accurate signals, you might lose all your hard-earned money.
Absolutely! Also, it's never been that easy and cost-efficient to actually invest. What a great time we are in!!
When I asked my followers from different platforms what are their immediate financial goals, most of them said that they want to make their first million. So that's what we're doing today.
>Making 1mm dollars sounds like a lot of money if you've never earned high figures before. It might seem like an obsolete objective, but the truth is new millionaires are created each day.

Tanmay your teaching method is so beautiful
I am New in the market and you teach so many good things thank you brother lots of love 💕
Good content 🙂. But problem with this filter is you get large caps . But basically you need to target small and mid caps , if you are going for 10 years of hold !
Iske piche ka funda - agar stock insaan hota , to ek batcha 1 feet se 6 feet ja sakta( small cap) but ek 6 feet ka aadmi 6 feet me stagnant ho jata ( large caps )
10 rupees stock can go 100 (10x) in short time . But it takes time for a 2000 rupees stock to grow to 4000(2x) 🌚
I was wondering the same. What if the index is changed to NIFTY500 or even NIFTY100? The former returns 400 stocks and the latter 25.
yes definetly you can do that but it will bring more risk
and jitna risk utna profit -- jiske chakkar me 97% people cannot make money in stock market
Small cap risky he, crisis ke time pe yeh dhub jathe he
I read the book but never went ahead with my research, you made it much simpler for me. Thanks

The buying of GMM Pfaulder has been one of the best decision in my 1.5 years of investment. It gave stock split of 1:2 and then rose about 20%-25% since. Looking for it to grow from small cap to mid cap all the way to large cap.

Hey if I have to invest 1 lakh in Asian paints 15 years back, it's not that easy as it sounds, even today, 1 lakh is a big amount. Inflation hits hard bro. Today's one lakh is not the same as 1 lakh 15 years back.

Buying stocks does not ensure profit always for you, the market price determines your profit, folks need to stop measuring profit depending on the market price, glad I chose to trade and found out about Denis’s strategy
95% of Stock Trader's fail- why? Because they give up, it takes time and lots of Trading experience to become a profitable trader, An alternative or my advice is seek guidance from some pro trader's to avoid lose of funds and account blown.
Denis Mark is a well-renowned broker, but what marvels me bout him is the fact that regardless of the huge profits he generates and the effort he puts in making these profits, his commission is very fair
I lost $20,000 on my first trade as a novice but since I came across him ,I've fully recovered my loss and gained close to $70,000 more with his strategy and consistency in trading
How can i get to him , would love to work with him...what are the requirements ???

A) Will coffee can work in an SIP form?
B) what are coffee can picks in the US stock markets?
Using smallcase, you can start a sip in stocks just like you do in mutual funds
@@subashj24 yes, it's not impossible to do it. But the Coffee Can book suggests lumpsum investing - doesn't go into SIPs.

Superb explanation by Anshuman 👍👌
The reason ROE is above 15% bcoz the interest rate for companies is around 15% in India. So, the company needs to generate more than they pay interest. If interest is more, the Co. will likely become bankrupt.

I'm super new to investing so bear with me if my question is a little dumn. But with my fresher level salary, investing 1 lakh into a company is just impossible rn. So how much do you think is a good minimum investment to start at when looking at building a Coffee Can portfolio?
The whole idea is just to start. If you start now and invest whatever amount you have, later when you are doing well, you can invest more. You don't wanna lose out on the potential income even if your investment is low or not a life changing investment.
Pardon my train of thought during the comment. Its all over the place
Please do not invest if you don't know any businesses. No one can pick stock in 10 mins. Trust me, it takes atleast 2 to 3 days to make a decision.

simply awesome... I have a question .. exactly how much of difference between ROE & ROCE is fine to buy the stock?? thanks
Me with my 2000₹ planning to invest in such expensive stocks to get 1 share😂
@@Harsh-it9oi seems yess
Start small I bought one share of Eicher Two years ago for Rs.16,000 I could afford only one share today after split it is 10 shares trading at about 2.8 K per share so my investment has gone from 16 K to 28k
@Being सबकुछ how is it going
1. Revenue growth of 10%+ over last 10 years.
2. RoE & RoCE both more than 15% over years.
RoE= Net Income/ Shareholders' Equity (which is Asset - Liability)
if Liabilities too high, then Shareholders Equity too small, which in turn makes RoE very high...but this can be misleading
RoCE= Earning before interest & taxes/ Capital Employed
Friend Warren: if RoE & RoCE very close to each other...best thing
Thanks for explaining
Thanks for information 👍 useful 🙏
I've gone through a lot of videos by Tanmay and others, still not able to figure out the amount I should start with. I know it shouldn't be too large, but how small of an amount will actually show me results?
Start with 5-10k see result first
Invest in penny stock.
Start with Max Rs 20k only.
Invest 1k in twenthy penny stock and wait... have patience.
If even one company rises up to potential power house then your value will be 1000 x whatever future holds.
Agar penny stock 100 per shares ban gaya future mai to
1000x100= 1,00,000
Don't invest in penny stocks. Beginners are not skilled to understand the volatility of such stocks. Invest in large-mid cap reliable stocks..you can actually invest in these stocks after doing your own diligence..start small..also don't trade, invest today and forget it..unless it facing losses..keep track of market news..most stock advice videos ain't reliable anyway.
You can't even read one quarter's concall transcript of a company in 10 minutes, investing is far away!
Just Bull Run Things!
Bhai yeh anshuman ne uska portfolio share krke boht sahi kaam kiya hai..!! 🔥💯

It is called coffee can Investing because people put all their valuable possessions in a Coffee Can and hid it under the mattress.
Coffee Can Investing is the best piece of advice one would need for making fortune in the long term in stock market. But the issue is everyone wants to double the money as soon as possible. I bought ONGC shares in 2011 by investing ₹6500 and now in 2021, after 10 years, it is still ₹3500.
Never got any oppurtunity to sell with positive returns. I have got only around ₹1800 in dividend for 10 years.
What led to downfall of ongc
@@thatguy6442 I also want to know. One thing I heard is that it is loosing business to Reliance and Adani.
Exit oil companies bro. They don't have a future because crude oil and such are limited on earth and they will eventually run out and not affordable. We already import way too much fossil fuels. Thats the main reason we are slowly switching to EVs, wind turbines and solar power. These will be made more and more with time.
If you want to stick to power sector, a better idea is to move that money to a company in a growing industry rather than a stagnating one like fossil fuels. Even sugar & alcohol stocks are a better buy then ONGC because those companies will be providing ethanol for clean fuel as per govt plan to blend ethanol with petrol in future. I would suggest to invest in power companies with growth in green energy production in past few years. If someone reads this after 10 years, give me a reply, so I can see how well I predicted lol.

There might be a mistake. The CCP states that every year, ROCE >= 15% and not 10 years average more than 15%. A 10year ROCE >= 15% does not guarantee that ROCE >= 15% every year.
I don't think so. A lot of companies have ups and downs. So in the end very good years and very bad years average out to the number.
@@pizzacon5836 Agreed, but the CCP thesis is essentially to find out companies that are financially consistent. In the book it is mentioned that it's supposed to be every year. Now how we as investors want to define a financially good company is totally up to us.
