Hosting Workshop Maps On Your Private CS2 Server

So we finally figured it out
this has not been an easy process just finding the one line commands
this shouldn't take as long to figure out but here we are
sometimes commands can take a while to execute so if it looks like your server is doing nothing please wait 5-10 min before retrying im guessing it downloads necessary files to make it work
+host_workshop_map ID - to host a single map
+host_workshop_collection ID - to host a map pool
my current collection all maps working - steamcommunity...

Hey Josh! Thanks for another great video. I followed your first one to host my server. Glad to see this one :)
So doing this instead of donwloading the map and putting it in the CSmaps-folder means that my friends can join without having to download the map locally, is that correct?

yes now that the workshop is out
if you host a workshop map or collection on your server your friends should be able to join without the hassle of manually downloading maps
it should automatically download it for them when they try and connect to your server now

@@JishJosh That's super cool. Actually tried it out after commenting and it works like a charm :) Only thing that doesn't work is Cobblestone. I've tried Valves own official and other but no go. Have you managed to make it work?

Hey Josh, the servers been working great for a week but now I am getting 'client is out of date' how can I update my servers version. I have tried app_update 730 & 740 but I get 'unknown command "app_update"!'
