I have gotten to this point on my own - it's the next step I need - i.e., getting the remaining console cover off so I can access the shifter cable. Mine has a wood finish look and don't want to break it.☮

After taking out the screws for the camode between the seats will it give ya room to get down next to the seat better. I dropped a med down there and can't see it. I'm thinking it might be under the carpet next to the track.
Sorry positive I don’t remember, I make so many vehicles and work on so many different makes and models of vehicles some of them I know better than others and this is one of them that I don’t quite remember exactly what you’re talking about wish I could be of some help I’m sure you’ll figure it out

Can you remove all of the console and just leave it out?? I’m trying to use this vehicle for living van life and this is taking up a ton of room. Cup holders and all. I realize there is the back side with the rear controls, I’m guessing the answer is no…which is a bummer 😢

Really sorry I don’t remember off the top of my head generally their welded to the trim So often not but you can cover them if yours looks terrible
Why don't you show how take out a center console for a 05 Chevy Blazer
When I made the video I didn’t know the steps the removal plus it must not have been hard I thought the important part was the repair . And that is the point of the video ,
I still see the center console. Unless that lever I pull down to move is the center console.
