Chevy Trailblazer center console - remove, reinstall, and repair

If your console won't close or pops open on its own, check the back of the console for looseness. If there is no looseness in the back of the console, the plastic welds are probably not broken so don't remove it. There might be something going on with the latch, which is not covered in this video. In this video you can see how much of a piece of crap these consoles are and, if you do in fact have broken plastic welds, how to fix them.
