    I prefer using the economic route for Elyrion, sanctuaries are essential for large maps and has been proven effective against real players (even experienced ones). The interesting thing about this tribe is that that can be aggressive, but also have a strong mid to late game if used correctly

    You should build sanctuaries on mountain tiles that have no ore.

    I have mixed feelings about the wildlife protect thing aswell:
    it takes a lot of ti. e to get the stars back that it cost u while not being able to use lumberjack houses and using the animals for politors because you would once again destroy your own economy. This aspect about elirion is really really bad because it is counterproductive but elirion really shines with the whales, dragons and polytours at the start

      sanctuaries are certainly tough to figure out. I find that generally they are very efficient in economy, but making too many will slow down your expansion too much. Elyrion already struggles a lot with being a slow economic tribe, almost comparable to vengir due to not being able to chop trees, so sanctuaries are definitely a must. I'm not able to give you any exact formula or even any close estimation for how many sanctuaries you should be using with them, because to be honest i'm not very skilled with the tribe.
      Dragons are another weakness to consider with elyrion and sanctuaries. You need to be able to stall to the point of getting dragons (if you can't rush down right away, which is usually the case on any map larger than tiny), and sanctuaries do a great job at defending to an extent. They can produce polytaurs to be used as (pretty much the only) option against giants, and combining that with archery for a solid defense against knights to last late game. The drawback with sanctuaries is that you may be greatly hindering your immediate army, and being too liberal with them can cause you to get run over and quickly be completely lost.

    The thing i find myself doing is using navalons and dragons to siege to attack instead of normal knights, swordsmans etc

    Great vid. It’s weird to think this was made when strategy was just “shields.” A well earned sub.

    Did they get rid of the water animal you could enchant?

    This is my favorite. Sad when they got updated to not be able to turn forest to grass.

      If you are smart with your shrines you can get two near each other both making animals and cranking up your stars. So in the video if you would have had the second shrine on the other side of the city it would have spawned an animal close to the first shrine and they would have both generated stars off of it. Smart placement there could have gotten you 4 stars a turn vs 2.

      @@cluelessmango768 in late game with proper placement boost a lot of star. but in early game its make its much harder to upgrade city. and if animal not spawn much economic will go into toilet for long like 6-7 turn.

    Honestly, I don't understand this tribe. At all. When I was less experienced, I even thought that Vengir was weak, so my lack of experience could have been an explanation before, but now I honestly can't see any any real advantage over Vengir (in attack), or Xin Xi/Kickoo/Bardur/any other tribe with strong economy. And now we have Cymanti, an absolutely imbalanced tribe, which combines ridiculously powerful economy, and superior riders + shaman combination for early game. So what advantage does Elyrion have?

    • @helpmymonitorisoff8838
      @helpmymonitorisoff8838  Год назад +1

      They combine the ability to be very aggressive like Vengir without all of Vengir's inherent drawbacks like their awful economy. Also nowadays Cymanti are pretty tame... you should have seen them on release, 2 cost hexapods for days destroying everyone lol

      Dragons and coordinating three sanctuaries to generate three stars from an animal within the center tile.
