I just looked up the origin of the word TCHOTCHKES just for fun. Derived from Slavic word for trinkets or bric a brac. The term has connotation of worthlessness or tackiness. Has become commonly used in regional speech of New York City and elsewhere.

The ornaments were for Disney 50th anniversary. The ones you didn’t know were frozone the one looked like he was in a surfboard. And Edna is also from the incredibles the little older lady. And the guy on the piano is Joe from the movie Soul. The dragon is Figment he’s the imagination mascot. The little boy is Miguel from Coco movie.

Time for you to watch some new Disney movies! those are some characters from some cute movies..I loved that super cute owl bank. that lil Jim Shore birdie was adorbs! man you could spend hours in there! i love the unique things you find in antique stores . like the whale pitcher!! so glad you got that turtle! ugh car trouble.. so sorry!

I love glass and like to handle it as much as possible - even items I cannot afford because I am always learning. I pick up bits of costume jewellery too. I think the one necklace you looked at that was a milky blue was in fact glass not a gemstone because tbe colour was uniform across the whole piece.
That Goldstone Maybe lab-created but it's still sliced and cut and Polished just as any other Natural Stone as much work goes into cutting those stones as any of the rest😊

Well, you say you get their knowledge and information, but you just began by looking at a piece that said it was My tank....and it wasn't! So it is still buyer beware!??? Also you looked at a piece that was half price, and it was OVER the " average" selling price...so what do we learn???
Things with labels, booths that do really appear to know thier stuff. Getting your hands on things and doing your own searches to find those with labels so now you have the touch and feel of it in your hands.
Well, bravo that you are being so picking and not buying too many cheap things. You still have a tendency to overbuy jewelry, especially cheap costume jewelry. Do people wear all these marginal quality pieces these days? Anyway, I can now watch your videos as they are more interesting.
