thank you for giving direct information making it brief and understandable without annoying jumping constantly moving/gesturing, and smiling trying to be quirky; just direct information, thank you!
Thank you for watching and commenting! I appreciate it
PC part picker showed me the wrong power wattage my rig required. I was getting unexpected game crashes. Went to the GPU manufacturer website and the min wattage requirements were higher than what was on my rig. So I bought a higher wattage (and grade) PSU and issues were solved. Moral of the story: check your manufacturer website for specs and compatibility. You might get away with PC part picker or the like, but you might run into trouble like I did so always double check.
PS. The HDMI cable goes to the graphics card, not the Mobo. Beginner's mistake.
What errors were you getting from this ? I’m getting an “error Device hung” playing apex and have tried so many things.. am now looking at a new gpu
Wow I was afraid of this why I did it on multiple websites before I made my purchases
Thanks for the info mate, im planing to spend around 2000€ on my new pc but prices in my country are way bigger than in the rest of the world, it's a real struggle
Great video, has a ton of answers I've been looking for. Thank you!
No problem! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Quality video mate. Appreciate it!
Very cool video, and the RAM one as well. Thank you!
i really appreciate this
just evaluating your video On How to choose a Graphics card for Beginners/ The most important thing to know about Gpu's.
Made it two 6 minutes on 2 times speed and no information of screen size of resolutions as these two primary pieces of information are truly what the Beginner person getting into a PC's/ gaming riggs have to base their builds on.
Think of someone's Grandparents that may have no idea about these machines and want to buy their kids or grandkids a super nice Christmas or birthday present or a graduating gift. I have an older friend that had a pretty decent gaming pc based on a 2080 that had great gaming experience with the monitor that was bought with his Pc, then his son bought him a super wide 4K display and the average frame rate in his games cratered to under 20fps, hardly a good gaming experience. then he stopped using his pc for gaming.
If I were to do an informational video on how to Choose a Graphics card for beginners, I would start with the display/ pixel resolution, what it means and leave out, bit coining, price jumping and supply chain shortages. My guess is you would have lost way too many real beginners' attention with your long drawn out video that failed to cover the basics of building a budget first time graphics card build/ creator machine and or gift in the first minute of your video.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Looking forward to your video!
@@TechGuided More of a writer, never liked being on set.
Cuda cores are also important 4080 has 5888 ,4090 has almost 10,000
Good video thank you for the helpful info
Your mic is fine. It's a fine video.
I'm planning on upgrading my old system (i3 4150 with GTX 750TI) to i7 4790 with a GTX 1660s.
But I'm not so sure about it. Is it a good balance?
Can you give me some ideas?
I'm trying to get a good balance between the CPU and GPU.
(my monitor is 1080p 75hz)
Really depends on what games you're playing, but the 4790 should still be good enough. And, the jump from the 750 Ti to the 1660S will give you a big boost in performance.
@@TechGuided I play both, cpu and gpu intensive games.
(Csgo, valorant, Titanfall 2, Apex Legends, Batman Arkham series, DOOM, METRO series, DEVIL MAY CRY, A plague tale innocence, Hellblade, COD, BATTLEFIELD)
Hey man, great video. Im 37 and learning all this stuff.. i just bought a ibuypower tracemesh. Intel I3, geforce 3050 gpu, 700 w PS. 16 GIG RAM, full rgb fans. 1tb SSD. i paid $849. DID i get ripped or could do much better.. still have time to return. My monitor is a samsung G9 odysee QLED
Well your specs aren't terrible. You'll be able to play games at 1080P well enough, but for the budget you could have gotten a lot more performance by building. There's also this prebuilt for the same price that has an i5-13400F and RTX 4060:

Thx for the vid
Great Video, i learned a lot of useful info!
I am currently trying to upgrade my older PC and i am wondering what is a good gpu to pair with the Intel Pentium G3260? (I aren't planing to play newer titles, mostly older games like skyrim and that kinda stuff)
What kind of power supply do you have?
@@TechGuided pretty sure i have a 350W supply
Best card for about $1000?
Where do you live? What 3 main games do you play? Is RT important to you?
@@ziggen2434 thanks for the reply! I want to use game engines and blender. I live in canada. I play all sorts of games, from indy to AAA
Best card for 1000 dollar build?
@@MegaMarm0t 4060
With 1000 dollars you can buy the most expensive card available, maybe even two of them
I wanted to play in 1440p so I thought the 7800 xt was a good choice. I was also going to pair it with my i5 13600k. Anyone know if that’s a good choice ?
Sounds good
Yep, will be an excellent combo.
Hello dude, my PC is i5 core+500gb hard disk+8 gb ram windows 10, but I need a graphic card, if I do animation, then how many gb will be right to take, for animate cc♥️
hi pls pls give me opinion what gpu good for warzone and rainbow six siege 4060 4060ti 4070 4070 super plz help thank u❤
The 4070 Super will give you the best performance, obviously, but you could go with one of the lower-tier options to save some money if you're only playing at 1080P.
Although, I'd also recommend considering the AMD alternatives as they are currently priced better and I believe AMD cards run COD better and similarly in Siege.
Hi, I want only 1080p gaming. Should I consider the number the cuda cores or the vram capacity of a mid range gpu.?
I don't think cuda cores really come into play when choosing a graphics card. Mostly because, in a given price range, you likely won't be choosing between two NVIDIA GPUs, but between an NVIDIA and AMD GPU and you can't really compare the number of CUDA cores to AMD's steam processors.
The amount of VRAM can definitely factor into the decision, though, especially right now in the mid-range GPU market.
I’m building my first pc and have no clue how to find a good Gpu that’s compatible with a GIGABYTE A620M GAMING X mother board and a AMD Ryzen™ 5 7600 cpu does anyone have any suggestions on a white Gpu or does anyone know if the PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card is compatible or a good choice
Yep, those will work together fine.
Did you figure it out?
@@kyle35_36 yes
is there a big difference between an 8gb gpu and an 16gb gpu?
Well the one has 2x the capacity which means it can run bigger resolution which means better
i dont want a gaming level performance, i just want to add a GPU to slightly boost my experience on an old pc since i have an integrated gpu and i want to get a separate gpu to boost it a little can u help in this situation?
It really depends on what CPU you currently have and what you use your system for. If you're just using your PC for day-to-day use, adding a graphics card might not make any significant difference. You may be better off with a CPU/RAM upgrade.
@@TechGuided hmm well i use the pc daily for mostly youtube and playing minecraft and its a basic pc like the processor is intel i3 2nd generation and when i try playing the newest version it gives me an error saying glfw error 65542 wgl the driver does not appear to support opengl and im sorry but i dont understand much about pcs, i can only play older versions of the game so can u explain in a more simple way please if u dont mind
@@kareemamin3743 To fix that error, I believe you need to update the drivers for your integrated graphics:
www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058790/graphics.html
But, if you're playing Minecraft, then a GPU upgrade will definitely help.
And, depending on where you live, you could also check the used market for a CPU upgrade option. Something like the i7-3770 would offer you a good increase in performance over your i3 2nd gen GPU.
Adding more memory would be beneficial as well.
@@TechGuided but how do i know if the motherboard can have an i7?
@@TechGuided oh and i forgot, i also wanna play rocket league since it doesnt currently work on my pc.
hey guys need some help - I just got the neo g9 57 inch and I dont know what gpu to get? Idk if to get the 3060 to tie me over until the 5000's come out
Yea I the G9 and running a 3050.. works really well
It really depends on what your budget is. Although, unless you're planning on getting a used 3060, there are better options for the same price (like the 6750 XT.)
get a better microphone
