- Jurassic Park games can get pretty scary or at least they used to back in the day. These fan games are great though and for Halloween I’ve compiled them in this new video ranging from Isla Nublar, Sorna and locations like the Raptor kitchen, Main Road and more. Most people probably haven’t played these, especially the Silent Hill one, but I always thought they were awesome dinosaur fun.

Its sad that Capcom will keep milking Resident Evil, but wont do a single modern Dino Crisis.
They teased every Dino Crisis fan by renewing the IP license and teasing they're "working on something" for the franchise only to effectively ghost people on it.
I know right Capcom need to stop bullshitting us fans and make a dino crisis remake and the second one, Capcom knows they make this game happen listen to your fans Capcom for reals.

We waited and waited alas, we all should move on from Dino Crisis and hope the new Jurassic park coming out next year will be awesome.
The second game is meant to be Robert Muldoon in his own twisted purgatory style afterlife after he was killed by the raptor.
What the devs should do is end the game with Muldoon finding his own body

Silent Hill
These fan made jurassic games are cool and indeed have a scary fear factory vibe to them and make the dinosaurs look scary wish we could get an actual horror themed Jurassic Park/world game.
Honestly the closest thing to a Jurassic Park horror game we'll have is a game called "The Isle", they'll be introducing humans soon hopefully and I believe that it will capture the horror feeling of the JP books. Universal seems to be too scared to make a real JP survival game cause it'll scare the kids .-.
Would also love a sequel or remake of Chaos Island.

Wish these were NOT fan made games, but actual games being made. We need a Far Cry First Person JP/JW styled game, open world and horror themed. Game companies should learn a thing or two from these fan made games.

We have enough JP park builders. What we need is a modern remake of the old GBA tie-in game Island Attack. Where we have to struggle to survive on Isla Sorna during JP3. Or a modern remake of Jurassic Park on the Sega CD. Trying to solve puzzles with limited weapons all the while trying to acquire dinosaur eggs.
I'd really love an action game based on the Lost World arcade game, because that was great and weirdly more faithful to the book than the film ended up being.

Something I really enjoyed in the rex breakout demo is taunting it to come toward you and then remaining still enough for it to lose me. The AI has the behavior of looking back and forth and scrutinizing the area it spotted you with each eye, much like in the book.
I didn't expect that second game to become Silent Hill x Jurassic Park, but there you go
That second game with Robert Muldoon they straight up used the crying noise from Silent Hill and the sirens 😂 in the building you went into looks just like the school it's all Silent Hill sound effects 😂😂
Trespasser from 1998 is my favorite Jurassic Park game ever. Mostly because of John Hammonds (Richard Attenborough) story telling in the game 🥰. And also the scarying atmosphere off been alone

Yeah. Maybe play as one of the In-gen workers stuck on that island like in the book. Maybe you lead other workers in an attempt to survive by having small groups go from bunker to bunker for supplies, weapons and ammo. Then either relocate or help other survivors out until help arrives. Someone else can help fill in the blanks to this idea if they want. I'm not creative enough to do that.

I get the feeling that Universal is literally scared of making a true survival horror JP game cause it might give kids nightmares and parents would try to "cancel" the game.

They aren't scared, they just don't see how they can market a survival horror game to kids. That's what they want. Kids to be interested in their products. Not the adults that stick with the franchise. We're an afterthought while the parents buy their kids Universal products.

Unfortunately the evolution games lack the JPOG soundtrack which is fire. The soundtracks for the older games were really good.

The Scariest Game in the Jurassic Franchise, Awesome and great work on this Klayton and this has got to be the most suspenseful and terrifying scene in the games I’ve ever seen in my opinion and it looks kinda cool, not gonna lie especially the Tyrannosaur scene.

Hey Kalyton if you love Jurassic Park games than you will definitely would love Oakwood. It may not have the Jurassic name but it's inspired by Jurassic Park especially the Lost World. It's only 3.99 on steam you would love it. I can promise you that. So please please please play it I would love to see your reaction to it

I'm still surprised you haven't done an in depth look at JP Aftermath since it's canon. I know it's lame to just watch if you dont have VR though. I recently found a really neat dino game called Oakwood. Only takes 2 hours to finish and it's on Steam. Highly recommend if you like what Klayton showed here.
The best part about Oakwood is that it's been out for years and people are just now talking about it. lol

There is almost nothing more that I want now than a high quality Jurassic Park survival game professionally published on this engine. Imagine a game like Alien: Isolation, but with Jurassic Park dinosaurs. If that game could happen why can't this? I would buy it in five seconds flat. Seriously, somebody get on this please I will give you all of my money 😂
I think its very odd that all of these indy JP games have been allowed to be released without Universals approval. Yet the JP game Krenautican and his team are developing (the one made within the Dreams program on PS5), has been unceremonially stopped by universal in its current form. This game was being made by a non profit team and it's giving us the content we've been begging for, for the last 20 years or so. It just seems Universal come what may, will not have a horror action game associated with them. Since this is what Jurassic Park is all about, I don't get why Universal are being so unyielding on this issue.
I found it great that Michael Crichton's novel is in the game, now that's faithful. My exact reaction: "Awesome!"

I’d argue that the Telltale Jurassic Park was survival horror. The only difference was that it was less gore-y and on rails. But it’s perfect for kids. I played it when I was 13.

In the movies rex can't see you if you don't move. But their sence of smell should be on point. So you standing still shouldn't matter.

The last game based on JP3 I found out that every time you're hidden the eye in the top right corner closes so that means the I is the raptor's eyes they can see you when it's open and when it's closed they cannot
The atmosphere of this game is off the hook. Wow whoever did this game did great job
I recognized that silent hill 1 fog music right away and I thought to myself “oh no he didn’t” then the siren-like sounds and darkened atmosphere confirmed it to me.

Oohhh, so when you hide in the bushes in the velociraptor jp3 looking game, the raptor eye closes, I am assuming this is to tell you you're hidden/ they can't see you.

hearing you mention Jurassic World Builder Games. I'm currently playing "Jurassic World the Game" on my phone. Good game but it eats away your MBs on your phone. I ended up Unstalling a lot of programs just to keep the game a float.
0:14 that is the most impressive 2d pixel dinosaur Jurassic Park game i have ever seen gorgeous 2d pixel graphics. I was creating and making Unreal Engine 5 2D and 2.5D pixel games alot but 0:14 gorgeous texture graphics is what im reconsidering, reevaluate myself, and rethinking pixel games can be gorgeous too look and view at. Also, the Jurassic Park game is very impressive cause well im a fanboy of the Jurassic franchise and do certainly like dinos. This game 23:40 from DisneyWorld happy times to Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, or another scary horror game quite quickly and terrifying those ominous horrifying sound music. I just sH!T my pants on the second game that i thought it was only be an average third-person simulation but was more than that. Very impressive dino games. Would like to see an Unreal Engine 5, Unity 3D, or CryEngine VR game.

In the T-Rex Paddock game, if you go to the toilets before T-Rex breaks out, you make a glitch that she won't see you even if you walk towards her.

Hearing the NES Jurassic Park music made me extremely happy. Any chance you'll ever play that on the channel like you did Trespasser? I think a lot of people slept on that game and it getting some positive exposure wouldn't be a bad idea - about all I ever see are negative reviews of it.
Crazy thing with Jurassic games is that the studios etc that have the rights, always make garbage games.
Then, fans come along, make fantastic games, and they get shut down by the rights-owners.
It's as if the studios are determined to be as mediocre and self-destructive as possible.
The people that made these games though should get together, and make a unique game where each level is different.
I remember games of old, having different levels in different styles.
Imagine having a JP game where level 1 is going around the Visitor Center, first person style... collecting info, maybe a few key-cards for doors.
Kinda like the training level at the start of Area 51 kind of thing. Hammond talks to you, and you first-person your way through the first 5 minutes learning a few controls and getting some keys, maybe a set of night-vis goggles.
Maybe a Muldoon shotgun too.
Level 2 or 3 is based directly on the Rex Escape scene.
Next level could be that Third Person collecting eggs level from 12:50. Which looks like an updated version of the SNES/NES/Gameboy JP game.
Next level: that First-Person Raptors in the Kitchen.
Final level could be a first person Alien Isolation style level, escaping the Raptors... and the endgame is to make it to the Visitor Center and open a door to let the Rex in to kill the Raptors.
If all those guys got together and combined assets, they could make a game that puts the studios to shame.

Congratulations on the Jeep! Lil jealous not gonna lie! Hope to see progress on it, I remember back seven eight years ago I was in Columbus Comic Con and this guy had one all kitted out. Allegedly he had access to one from the movie and made a near exact copy (apparently he couldn't get the right tires at the time). Wether ot not he's full of it I still had an amazing time and the truck was an amazing build

Game creators really need to make more dinosaur related video games not just park makers but Dinosaur shooters or horror games.

The lost world on Xbox 360 was awesome
There is a Jurassic park horror came I would like and hear me out in terms of concept, what if you are placed on Isle Sorna solely as a student/photographer, having to complete a list, but its also partially a survival game, thirst, food, you could hunt but but your character is pretty damn squeemish. Of course you do get a "research allowance" which is essentially your currency for getting supplies.
Though you can find broken pumps, maybe ruined camps of other people who were there for something.
Now how is it a horror? Simply put, if you are unobservant or an idiot, you will get ended, ignore the subtle signs of territory being marked? You get offed, did you pick up an egg to sell off? Well as long as your holding that egg, the parent hunts you, unfortunately you will be hunted for weeks on end.
So in a way, if long dark and Jurassic park were to work together, however instead of blizzards, you get tropical storms, now you may say "well you have a chance to freeze to death?" No, instead your visibility and movement is hindered, so you are better off buckling down but there is a chance your camp of choice will get wrecked or its considered prime shelter.
Player character turns out to be Ed Regis.
