It SEEMS like either my external CD reader or headphones were the culprit. The only reason why I chose to start using headphones was because my speakers started giving negative feedback. Anyway, THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION, GOOD SIR! Please have a very nice day!
I am getting a buzzing from my capture card, but when I unplug my headphones it stops. I don’t hear the buzzing, but the stream/recording keeps picking it up. Not sure if that’s enough info or what else I can try. I have chat link cable that goes into my controller, headphones and the capture card
@@ghostup236 kind of. It’s still there but only hearable on loading screens with no in game sound. Basically what I did was change my consol audio settings to be louder, then lower the audio from that channel in OBS. Biggest issue of this is sometimes my game is really loud, I think if I get a wired headset with an audio dial I can get rid of that but I’m not 100%
Im using an EVGA xr1 capture card. If I plug in the two usbs away from each other and jostle with the cables, it seems to fix it. Problem is I wont hear it until im done streaming. Im looking for audio filters that may help within obs.
I had the opposite. Fine on videos, but starts when I make the mic active. Have a hot key to turn it off and on.... so my static is ONLY over the mic. Which has NO STATIC in test streams...ever. using same mic, same ports, coming out of video....
What about using Reaper DAW? I am getting signal but the final recordings via obs is terrible at best even set at 320. Any help would be greatly appreciated
why is your display showing as like its diving into infinity or infinite feedback loop.. also i notice your lip-sync is offset from the audio enough to notice by even someone slightly intoxicated. thanks for help. Ive finally gotten audio going on my obs27.2.4 using vivitar cap card. on x360. but im now having problems with white noise hiss in my recordings.. im new to using obs and recording gameplay..
So I have my obs set up with Xbox and a chat link the issue I’m having is for some reason it picks up my friends voices in party chat just fine but mine sounds very far away also my friends sound is louder.

How is it helpful to disable the desktop audio. How will you be able to hear your other audio sources?

removing the webcam from the scene in OBS worked wonders for me. the webcam did have a mic
When I disable I lose the mixers and can stream zero sound.
what about removing the static ?
The volume of your video is extremely low. You need to raise it to -23 luf in post. It is a standard.
The issue is my audio is pristine for about 40 min… then the static starts and I haven’t changed any settings. It just started doing it two weeks ago.
