both for Supernote and Boox across every device, I wish we had something like this: let us look at the list of starred items in a document (right, got that already), and then hold-tap on one or more of them and have a "Share..."-like Android "intent" to send whatever sentence it is that you starred to e.g. Microsoft or Google To-Do, or Notion, or whatever. Supernote is *almost* there because you can add starred items to their internal To-Do app. but that doesn't really sync usefully with other services. the real killer feature would be the ability to turn starred or boxed (on Boox) content into *whatever* kind of content you find useful.
@@KitBetts-Masters I have been using Nomad at work and have been liking to keep notes on during my work shifts. Not sure though I’ve been using to it’s full potential
@@KitBetts-Masters mine is indispensable for meeting notes (I have at least 6 a day). Writing helps me make sense of and retain information, so having limitless pages is key PLUS I can SEARCH my notes when I need to revisit!!!
Great video Kit, and as always thank you for the shout out. We need to do a video together again sometime. I am getting close to the 2k subscriber mark and I owe a lot of that to you.
I’m looking to use my new Supernote as a daily work Agenda planner (and some personal). I would be interested to see your workflow for daily planning/agenda. I am new to this Supernote platform - anything will help Thanks!
Thanks one more time for your clear description of some of the most significant features of SN. I'm moving from Remarkable PP to SN and I need to convert all my RM files into PDF to make them transferrable on and then readable by the SN. Can I use the links and star tag functions on PDF docs or are they just limited to notes?
Hiya, my pleasure. Just checked, stars work, they go into annotations in the PDFs, but you can't do links. However, what you can do is to turn your PDF into a template and then from there all of the notes app functions work on top of the PDF. :-)
Your workflow maps nicely to Obsidian + Readwise that I use across multiple devices. I'd be really interested to see how taking notes in something like Obsidian works (I'm not keen on vendor lock in for hardware solutions) as there is a real difference between hand writing notes and typing them.
I am strongly considering Manta to use it in conjunction with sideloaded Obsidian, but it doesn't seem straightforward. First you'd need to sideload Obsidian, which can be difficult for some people. From what I've seen, you cannot really write into Obsidian notes as those are .md files and don't support the native Supernote note app. There's a plugin for Obsidian though that can export the Supernote .note files into .md files based on Supernote's background OCR, or as images using the handwritten text. Dunno how cumbersome it would be to use though. I hope that if you have Obsidian Sync, it would then auto sync the exported notes across your other devices with the same vault, but I have no way of checking it. There's also a long-running suggestion in Ratta's feature board to add official Obsidian integration, but I have no idea how likely it is for Ratta to go through with or if they did, how long it would take.
Is it just a hardware change or is there functionality the Manta has that the previous Supernote didn't? I ask because I own the old one and wondering if this is any different 😊
Hiya, all eink has some ghosting, and sure it's worse here than on for example a Boox BSR device, (well most Boox BSR devices!) but because you tend not to use dynamic content so much on the Supernote, it very rarely bothers me. 🙂

I'm stuck between the manta and the Boox air 4c. Looking for note taking and maybe a calendar.

Which SN pen do you mostly use?
The heart of metal 2. It's easily the best in my mind.
@ I use push up pen with nomad though I’ve HOM with my A5X

You can probably do it with Dropbox to OCR and Automatisch
