    On the 2020 ammo shortage, a big part of it was that there was almost 10,000,001st time gunowners let’s say they all wanted 100 rounds a year. It’s 1 billion rounds of production. It just didn’t exist at that time.

    Not really a Darwin Award thing, but I did have an accidental discharge while out hunting with dad and brother once. It was a long time ago, so I can't perfectly recall everything. It was after I was gifted my first gun for completing hunter's ed. It was a pretty small one that had a swappable barrel to be either a .22 rifle or a single-shot break action 24 gauge (maybe?) shotgun. It was in the shot gun formation and we needed to cross over a reasonably large fallen tree. Not massive or anything, but a good step up and back down. While I was observing the rules of gun safety, being fresh in my mind, when I touched down, a round went off. There was no accidental trigger pull, as it required the hammer to be pulled manually. No one was injured, as I kept my barrel is a safe direction, but I was pretty frazzled by it and never used that one again. I never trusted it since, but I didn't sell it because I felt it was too dangerous. I actually just had it destroyed last year.

      Essentially all shotguns will fire when dropped or if the butt is hit hard on an object. This is especially true with pump actions and break actions. I was always taught to break the gun open when going over obstacles, since my grandpa had the same thing happen to him when he was a kid.

    Thank you. The jokes in later videos build on each other, so when people jump in near they end they are lost.

      On his comment of "you used an AR-15", AR-15s use 5.56mm/.223 cal rounds... but unfortunately the .300 cal "Blackout" uses a cartridge almost identically sized. However, that .007 of an inch difference in the bullet means that it cannot go down the barrel... leaving a small explosion with nowhere to go. .223 = gun, .300 = bomb. Thankfully, because it is a semi-auto rifle, the recoil system and bolt group absorb most of the shock.

    Good recommendation to watch these from the beginning, since he does at times reference earlier vids.
    Also highly recommend his AR GUYS VS AK GUYS series! I think you'd get a kick out of em!

    I wasn't one of these people, but I mean... you can take food that doesn't last long and turn it INTO food that lasts long... by drying, salting, sugaring, freezing, cooking and sealing, and so on.

    Glocks don't have manual safeties, and Glocks are the most used police service pistol in the world. So that's why those guys "didn't have the safety on," because there is no safety to turn on.

    Strikerfires don't have safeties.... andl last I heard most agencies switched to strikerfire pistols.

    • @JaxMerrick
      @JaxMerrick Месяц назад +1

      Not in the traditional sense. They often have trigger safeties (a tab in the center of the trigger that has to be depressed to pull the trigger) or grip safety (a button in the back of the grip thats depressed when properly held). Both suck in my opinion, though.

    • @tenchraven
      @tenchraven Месяц назад +1

      And that is where you'd be full of shit. Plenty of striker fire pistols have thumb safeties. But others don't- they have internal safeties. Just like revolvers don't have thumb safeties. This isn't 1911, we don't need to have gasping horrors over the idea that a horse might step on a pistol.

    Rave as much as the FBI and CIA seem close, if they sent a party invite to a cook out the would show up on seprate dates cause they dont actually talk(overlap) like that
    CIA could have info that would help the FBI vut because of bureaucracy they will never know

    I’ve heard you ask about the safety of the guns in the police shot himself in elevator and back flipping fbi clips. You do realize most officers/agents use Glock brand firearms right? Glocks do not have manual safety levers like you are asking about.

    • @tenchraven
      @tenchraven Месяц назад

      And you're about ten years behind the times. Sig and S&W are taking a lot of Glock's lunch money. After Glock doing it to them for 20 years. But you're cute. Keep trying. Eventually you'll say something that more right than it is wrong.
