Looking for an adequate compliment, but there isn't one! Truly excellent musicianship. Matt is always great on the guitar but he is absolutely celestial on this solo. Emmett, just wow!

I think everyone plays their instrument very well but Emmet is an exceptional Dobro player! Probably the best I've ever heard! I'm sure if he wanted to... he could go to Nashville and do recording sessions. I'm glad he's in the band though! Great job Petersens!

I absolutely love this song. Emmett is not only a world class dobro player but an even more talented musician. Kudos to Ellen and Baby Lazer on hitting those hammer ons from a sidesaddle position. I really love everything original they put out. Keep up the good work it is well appreciated.

During Covid, they were able to turn around their Live Sessions albums more quickly, as they took the audio from their videos. But now they're recording their albums in the studio, so the songs are more put together and the audio's good enough for vinyl
@@Liz.NewtonI've heard that the process of how they did their Live Sessions albums will be reconsidered again. Hopefully this will lead to the songs of some of their more recent videos, that are not on an album yet, to be available on CD (and for streaming).
Emmett---nice job. I appreciate complexity of the weaving of the instruments as the banjo takes the lead for a moment. More like classical music composed.
I was fortunate to see this played live on their recent European tour. This piece is one of the finest examples of modern bluegrass performed currently. An outstanding composure from an outstanding band on an electric evening !😊😊😊

I have been following you as a group for some time from Australia. I have made comments before expressing my admiration for the music that you produce for its purity and style. It is wonderful that each of you gets the opportunity to shine and show your respective skills in your playing. The playing has really become more sophisticated without loosing the purity of its roots and origin. Just keep it coming. Is there a chance we can have mum be the lead in something in the future. She really does look proud of you guys when you are playing. I would love to see you guys come down under for a tour. 😃 🇦🇺

I know it's not all about the views but still... 270K in one week guys! How much did 'Country Roads' get the first week? 1M? So it's not quite at that level yet, but it looks like 'Thunder Ridge' might very well become the 'Country Roads' of your originals!
Insane!!!!!! Emmett's expert composition skills are exploding like the water from those sprinklers! They decided to take matters into their own hands, because y'all were going to start a WILDfire!
And the thing to love most about this song (and all of of you guys' music, really!) Is that the composer/arranger is not the only one to shine. Every other member has their own moment to show off their finesse. Makes the composer's abilities all the richer in my eyes!
I doubt I will ever run out of reasons to say this about anything from the Petersens, but... I LOVE it!

Katie and Matt), an excellent rhythm section with Julianne constantly keeping time and Karen finding some incredible bass lines! It's been a while since we heard an Emmett original. The band flew back after their London show, in time to restart shows in Branson on September 7. They're actually playing this weekend at Thunder Ridge, a new outdoor amphitheater that inspired this song.
