I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Never knew how quirky and truly lovely she is… this is the first full interview I ever saw of her!! I saw the one with her and Houda earlier today…absolutely lovely human!!
I was just thinking the same thing and was going to comment. Yes, who? My grandmother new her mother. Janet Leigh! I have a picture my grandmother took in the studio of the star of psychological killer movie!
I have grown up watching this woman on screen, cheering her on with her patents, cheering when she published her books....This woman is a legend. I wish her nothing but love, always!
The Awesome Jamie Lee Curtis! Classy, Talented, Beautiful, and Timeless! She grew up with acting in her genes from her parents, but her ability stands out on its own merits.
She's the one who first showed us all what actual Hollywood bodies look like without the Hollywood. Even fabulous bodies like hers. A true beauty - she paved the way, and we want more people over 40, 50, 60 in Hollywood. Disabled ID women BIPOC even better! I 💜and watch every single year🎃🦇
i remember when her movie freaky friday version came out she said she doesnt plan to hide her age and she stuck with it embracing her grey and wrinkles and still very beautiful
6:43 The toilets in my current home aren't as fancy as the ones she describes, but they do have warm seats and squirt water to help cleanse your bottom. Like Jamie, I've gotten so used to them to the point where it now feels weird for me when I use ordinary ones lol
Terror Train I've found to be JLC's most under rated 80's horror movie. It's got great kills but is also very character driven and has a great mystery of who the killer is throughout. Plus David Copperfield and Vanity are in it.
@@ronburgundy3172 Granted, Everything Everywhere All At Once, has been under the Awards conversations, recently, with several rumours that Michelle Yeoh could be nominated for a Golden Globe, SAG and an Oscar (if that kind of rumours rings true there).
Man i honestly almost cried toward the end of the movie I know the reboots will continue but jamie will be missed dang thank you for Halloween jamie lee
Watching this at almost 3 a.m. and Halloween still terrifies me! One and two were the first horror movies I ever saw. I was only 9 1/2 years old. My Dad let my brother rent them for New years eve. And my parents went out for the evening. I was petrified! Part two is even worse then one. I was too scared to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, by myself for over a year! Now I am the person who laughs at how ridiculous most horror movies are! But Halloween is still just so scary!
Yeah, I first saw it in our living room with the lights off when it debuted on tv in '81, I was 7. My dad was sleeping on the couch behind me and the suspense became so unbearable at times throughout I kept waking him up and he kept going back to sleep, lol. Good, fun memories.
I was a skycap in Phoenix I met her just briefly back in 08.. I yelled I love your movies ! And she gave me a handshake with both hands and said god bless you! She has a very motherly undertone.. almost like a teacher !
My God, can this woman STILL kick @$$! Having a mother at the center of what will always be film's most iconic horror sequence of all time isn't something many people could ever expect to live up to. Few of Hollywood's children have succeeded in pulling themselves out from under their parents' shadow; so many either turn to drugs or fade into obscurity. Jamie, however, pulled it off and has remained relevant for decades in an industry that chews even beloved actresses up and spits them out. Against all odds, she has more than earned her place next to her mother in film history.
I just love how Kimmel makes Jamie Lee Curtis laugh and wheez over signing that document. And and enforced by the haddoned field police department. And Kimmel saying he was going to send the signed document to the Myers and Myers attorneys.
Jamie Lee Curtis is THE quintessential "Scream Queen," second only to mother Janet Leigh. She's done her duty and defended her crown four decades over. She did a GREAT job.
That is what Sigourney Weaver said that Alien 3 was her last one and was "resurrected" for a 4th one! I have a hunch that it's not Michael Meyers who dies but Laurie Strode who dies in Halloween Ends.
I just want to write that my name is Josh i want to write that i have exciting news. Jamie Lee Curtis has finally been nominated for her very first academy award for the very first time for the 2023 academy awards. she's been nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. how exciting it would be to see Jamie Lee Curtis walk up to the oscar stage and recieve her first oscar stage. especially after she came back and reprised her role as Laurie Strode in the Halloween trilogy for Blumhouse too.
Hey Jimmy, Love that you are on youtube. But we all have 4k screens now. Could you ask your video guys to upload in a resolution that represents this decade? thanks!
A good Halloween haul is an amazing thing...treats til Thanksgiving. I love Jamie Lee!🎃 Her Dad played Houdini...her Mom in Pyscho. Destined to be a scream Queen.
Always loved her, great additude, just a beautiful person. I remember the first Halloween movie as a teenager. She is a class act. Very deserving of the STAR. Congratulations 👏 ⭐️💫🌟✨️⭐️
The work she has done over the decades is phenomenal. A true pioneer in horror films. 🙌🏻
And then comedy- she was the glue in A Fish Called Wanda- playing opposite Kevin Klein and John Cleese.
@@SKinSKorea that movie was hillarious 🤣

I third that too
I 4th that!! Loved her in the movie True Lies with Arnold.
Back in the day her legs were insured for a million $$$🎉
You should put A Fish Called Wanda on your list, if you haven’t seen it
Its been like over 40 years and I'm still in love with this woman... crazy, one of my favorites.
You can tell by the way she carries herself and her body language, she’s a strong woman that takes no bs. You have to come correct 😊
She’s a total legend, so many iconic movies.. Nobody told her the cookies in the green room were “special” ones..
It's sad that the trilogy will end...😭😭😭
