even if therisa came back, guts wouldn't probably hesitate to rip her in half. if she tries to attack

I was convinced she'd be the one to kill Guts back in the day lol, that'd be so disappointing now😂I'd have to track down Mori and take my revenge😈😈🗿

She will not return and the only purpose for her in the story was to show that guts isn't that heartless bastard that he pretends to be. The picture at the end shows this perfectly. You get a glipse of how much he regets his actions and how trapped he is in himself. He gets all the hate and cause a lot of pain for others, but don't know how he should act differently. He uses his rage to burn his enemies and himself, because he thinks that is the only choice he has, but gets to witness first hand how this effects everyone around him. So he puts up this "badass shell" and says that everyone who is not strong enough is at fault, because they just should have been stronger, while knowing he is one of them, because he lacks the strength to escape his own situation. Its a reflection. So no he is not Femto in my opinion in this moment, because Femto does this to cause pain to others on purpose. He wanted to burn himself in the mind of guts so that he doesn't think about anything else like griffith did when he was in prison. The only thing that he tought about was guts. Guts realizes that the little girl in this moment is him and that his mental state is at such a low that he is no different from the people he hates. But like i stated he doesn't want that. Its just his mindset that tells him its wrong, but he have no choice while femto don't think about whats right or wrong, because he simply want to inflict the pain to get his revenge. Also it would clash with the whole idea of forgiveness. What Miura wanted us to understand is that you shouldn't trap yourself in the cycle of hatred and forgive others for the sake of your own peace. He shows this in the last chapter he made when it seems like griffith regrets his actions. The series will not end with both killing each other, but with guts forgiving him and breaking the cycle. The whole build up wouldn't make sense otherwise

Yeah I think you're onto something, if Griffith got power from the idea of evil then Guts will get power from the idea of forgiveness by using the behelit to become a member of the good hand
