I bought my car in August of 21 and I haven't received ANY updates. Zero. They sent out a letter saying they were going to call and set up a time for me to come in so they could change the 12v battery and do the update (because it won't update without doing that very inconvenient thing), but that got scraped and they issued a recall instead. That may take a couple of days for them to do. I love my car, but the ownership experience sucks and I'll probably go with another brand on my next one. One that charges faster, has more range and actually gets promised updates in a timely manner.

You should shop dealers around you who can handle the update (even if that means driving long) there are dealers with shorter wait time till the ID tech is available:D
