Been killing it on your color “The Dude” in the swimming trout trick Capt ! When my water gets real clear. Well it’s like clear tea The color or maybe that profile seems to be real convincing ! Good stuff Capt no BS !
This is a great clip , especially for what feels like slow sumner fishing. It’s also an indirect master class of casting into mangroves. Great job Captain.
I just returned from fishing flood tide tails in SC, an incredible trip. Your suggestion for using white braid is a great tip, it’s so important to tell where that line is in relation to the tail, especially seeing it through the spartina.
I very confident i saw that boat!!! In the Ozello area right?? I had a tough day out there, i just got me a gheenoe so im able to get in these skinnier spots and its a little new for me. Caught 1 trout and 1 rat red.
When you're fishing long stretches of mangroves or in my case marsh and there's no obvious bait movement. what directs you to decide that either, no fish go to a different area or I'm using the wrong bait or they're just not hungry. Usually seems tougher on high tide and the food is all up in the grass .
Higher tide phases will push fish into the marsh grass but you should see areas where grass will thin out and create a bight in the shoreline or maybe even a pond behind the natural shoreline… those fish find their way into those zones. Spinnerbaits or Texas Rigged plastics work well in these scenarios
All top notch information, that cannot be found anyplace else on RUclips . Truly one in a million .

Hello from Lecanto. Tight lines CA!
Appreciate the shout out from the local angling community

Your just using just a hook no weight and twitching the bait right?
Bill- yes sir, just the EWG rigging hook and the Zman Scented Jerk Shadz 5”
Did you see that entire lower unit stuck in the sand?
😂
