That's a lot of growth for 6 months. I did the same after 6 months of relaxed hair after 14 years natural. Lol. Cut off the creamy crack one day. Transitioned for about one week and said nope. Big chop is the way for me. Missed my natural curls. Good job.
Your hair looks great not crazy there are so many styles with that hair without wearing a wig or braids. You have such beautiful skin so you can rock that look
It is definitely a process cuzzin.. I have been naturally since early 2015, and the point that you’re at is the hardest. I didn’t actually do the big chop, I just sorta clipped it here and there, so kudos to you. Love you ❤️
I think whenever we cut off our relaxed hair to our natural we think it looks so strange. Mostly because we haven't seen ourselves that way in so long. So, it's an adjustment for sure. I found that part the hardest to get used to and I went right back to my relaxer. Also, you have beautiful hair I think it looks good on you.
So sorry to hear that you had to go through this. But don't let it get you down. Because it will because of going back to the natural hair. Now my hair is short but I am happy with it
I know this was 11m ago...Your afro is beautiful, and you could have 100% walked around just liked that without the artificial hair. I did when I big chopped in October 2021 (my afro was shorter).
Hey. So I even though I purposeful cut my hair, it took me some time to be comfortable with the new look, but trust me when I say I have been rocking my natural fro as of late!
Tempted to cut mine after 10 months of transitioning (can't take the transitioning phase any longer 😫) And I'm also not going to the salon, I don't trust anyone with scissors near my hair 😩🤣🤣
I envy people who can cut their own hair in the mirror like that. My brain just seems to go into reverse and l can't figure out what's where or where I'm going. I cut my own bangs once...don't even ask.

And I’m still exploring. One of these days I’ll find the time to finger coil my hair or something. We’ll see.
Your hair looks great! You definitely can rock that fro. It goes with your face.

I wanted to go that route but I’m too impatient. Now I just need to invest in some products.
Love you too😘
That was fun watching you become more and more confident with the scissors. It must feel so good! You look wonderful.
Lol I love your comment. Once I got in the groove, it felt so freeing!
You have thick beautiful hair... its gonna be ok!!!
The fact that you was procrastinating at the beginning had me cracking up like just cut it lol

So sorry to hear that you had to go through this. But don't let it get you down. Because it will because of going back to the natural hair. Now my hair is short but I am happy with it
Oh it’s definitely a process. I’m very happy with my hair now.
Thank you for sharing I have been natural for one year now because I need to take care of my health
I hope you’re having an exciting journey.
Your Afro looks great! You could’ve rocked a stretched wash and go or twist out EASY
I actually need to figure out how to do that because I would love too. Especially where my hair is now.
You look stunning 🥺this is so encouraging, my goal is also 6months, I'm 2months in.
Thank you. I bet you’re just itching for that transition!
I wish I knew how to braid! I think your hair is beautiful!
Thank you so much! Just keep practicing! Braids don’t have to be perfect.

That hair piece looked nice on you.
It was a double transformation lol

Your hair was BEAUTIFUL pre scissors
Ehh... Her hair is very healthy, with tremendous density. She'll be fine.
Thank you. I was noticing a lot of damage and shedding. So I’m giving this natural journey a try to rejuvenate my hair.
I’m about to cut my hair again 😍

Mildly annoyed at you calling your afro a hot mess when it looks fine. Your hair before was a hot mess. You look great before and after.
