The writers were so desperate to make ash lose that they gave a random trainer we've never even seen before 2 legendaries creating several plot holes in the process 😅
I wonder why they want to keep Ash by that point instead of following the plot formula based on the Sentai series. Like after that Sentai series ends, they end up use new protagonists
I think his full team is 1. Darkrai 2. Latios 3. Entei 4. Celebi 5. Deoxys 6. Mew We’ve seen each of those Pokémon die in movies before 1. Darkrai - Sacrificed himself to protect the town during the battle with Dialga and Palkia. 2. Latios - Used up his power and sacrificed himself to save the city from destruction caused by the Soul Dew being destroyed by Annie and Oakley. 3. Entei - Sacrificed himself to defeat the Unown and restore everything to normal 4. Celebi - The Iron-Masked Marauder used up most of Celebi's power by destroying most of a forest with a construction of a giant monster. He then used up the last of his power by flying himself, Sam and Ash out of a wreckage. 5. Deoxys - Physical form was destroyed by a Rayquaza. 6. Mew - Mirage Mew was destroyed by Pikachu using Volt Tackle.
Nah bruh, while 3 of the other 4 could be legendaries/mythicals, the last one must be a starter. It's not like his first Pokémon was a Darkrai or another legendary/mythical, that would be absolutely bonkers 😅
Could be a starter. Just based what we have seen so far, a full mythical/legendary team would make sense. Having a starter in there wouldn't seem right to me. But I can see why you think that!
I think darkri Latios arceus rayquaza garatina and his ace magikarp lv 100000000000000 with splash that does 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 damage
I think the rest of his team are pretty obvious who they might be. Since he used darkia as his first and his second is Latinos... The rest are likely other legendaries as well.
Imo I would guess the last 4 would of been Entei, Zapdos, Shyamin, Suicune The reason I wouldn't give him Latias because he could of been hunting for it to complete the set. Setting up an actual goal for him because we can all safely assume Tobias only entered the League for extra training because if he would of challenged Cynthia he would of been the champion by now. Her Garchomp isnt that strong. Darkrai would honestly sweep 5/6 of her team.
Keep in mind this was back during Generation 4 so stuff like Mega Evolution, Z-Crystals, gigantmax, or whatever transformations gimmick Scarlet and Violet were doing. So Pokémon after generation 4 will not be part of his team. Man Tobias is a mysterious character who the anime hides his origins on purpose might be years before the public domain catches up to Pokémon soon 😅

As a former hater of Tobias, this is my opinion on the situation. Weather you all hate Tobias or not, this is my opinion on the guy & what should've happened with Ash's most OP rival who deserved character development, as well as some other rivals on why they became the people they are now. Alain was Tobias done right on so many levels. Especially since Alain got his own mini series & got character development, Tobias didn't. Tobias along with with Ritchie, Harrison, Tyson & Virgil (The guy who Ash should've lost to in the Unova League) all should've had their own 4 episode mini series. All but Tobias whose Character probably should've had at least 8 or 9 episodes where we see how he got his Darkrai & what his other pokemon are & the story behind it all. My guess is that Tobias probably saved some of these pokemon from hunters or other pokemon the legendaries were weak against & decided to train them to fight back. I wish the anime staff writers & storyboard artists just thought of yhis before it all happened. We had so much that could've happened & we just didn't get it. Edit: Also, I would say now a days his team would be so overpowered. Darkrai, Latios, Xernias, Zekrom, Eturnatis & Groudon. I give 0 craps about this. He probably has almost every single one. The only ones he most likely doesn't have are Mew & Mewtwo. We'll never know.
Imma be real, I don’t think Tobias has more than 2 pokemon with him for the league specifically, he was clearly just meant to screw Ash out of winning the Sinnoh league so it likely was never planned to give him more than two, still fun to speculate though.
