I don’t know if you care, but I just had a funny idea: What if the gen 3 fossils had “modern” forms. They would represent what the animal they are based on evolved into in real life. Make replicanth be a modern form of a different Pokémon. Idk, sounds interesting to me
That unbound marshadow is so frickin cool! I’ve always been a fan of the design trope of just the upper teeth on a skeleton and marshadow is pretty cool already

Oh my gosh I am SO happy to see other people do this! I've been trying to design a Mew Unbound form and not making it super close to Mewtwo is hard. I absolutely ADORE this quadrupedal design, you did amazing! I only have gotten through one Pokemon and am SO excited to see the rest! Incredible work!!!
9:06 As someone who has Marshadow as the 2nd favorite mon: -His best looking move is locked in only 1 generation (being the Z-move), so it's something you see almost never. -When talking about tiers, he is too strong for OU, and too weak for Ubers, but he must stay in Ubers where you have all the legendaries to choose from instead of him. -There wasnt any event or story related quest in the game for him, I think the way to get him was simply get a code from the store. -There was a movie featuring him, but he didnt do much in there. -His base design looks too bland without the flames, but thats how he's portrayed most of the time.
i really love marshadow, and it really sucks that he doesn’t get much love in competitive, or even the games. if it was transferable to gen 9, it would be on my team in a heartbeat.
Meloetta unbound's new ability can be " resonance," making it so when this mon is hit by a sound move it takes no damage instead increase it's special attack by 1 stage. Additionally the ability gives a 50% boost to all sound moves this mon uses
Love them. Jirachi's face gives off Arceus vibe, and Shaymin's reminds me of Chopper from One Piece! Maybe some of these Mythical Pokémon could use some upgrades like these.
Honestly I think having confined forms for the mythicals or legendaries who aren't so chibi looking, even ones that already have different forms could be a rather interesting idea!

Meloetta's unbound form being a muse is a very fitting idea considering that one of the inspirations for her design is ofc the muses from Greek mythology
I loved all of the designs in this video... except for Mew. Maybe it's because it's my favorite mythical and so I'd be impossible to please regardless, but one thing I love about Mew is how smooth and simple its design is, and I just can't get into something so much busier for it. But that said, the artwork itself is still top notch, even if the design isn't my cup of tea. I think I liked your design for unbound Jirachi the best.

Admittedly, I feel like Victini should’ve had something more jovial and less fierce. The Pokemon of Victory’s unleashed state should feel far more like a “I’ve already won” sorta deal and having it with a more confident and less aggressive appearance would benefit it. My mind goes somewhat to Luffy’s Gear 5, while I haven’t watched OP, that design instantly gets across the “you’ve already lost mentality” quite well. Also ability wise, a reverse Superior Overlord would be fun, where it grows stronger with each of your opponents Pokemon you’ve taken out.
A really cool idea for Unbound Mew would be to make it Psychic/Normal since part of the concept you thought of was to have segments of its body appear amporphous. It could make an interesting nod to the idea of mind over matter of have the typing symbolically represent the mind and body. Plus if you don't want to just tack on Dark, Psychic, Fighting, Ghost, or Fairy just in case those seem predictable and boring Normal typing seems like the most lore appropriate option.

Pecharunt Unbound (and I know this is an entirely different mythology) kinda reminds me of NeZha. The gauntlets on its arms and it just sorta looks like a little kid brings it together that way in my mind.

Could of had it unfold mechanically into something even larger Transformer style or do something crazy with the soul heart. The soul heart is said to be the true pokemon. Basically Diancie is like a Mega Carbink

But Arceus already *is* the confined form of true Arceus. True Arceus probably isn’t even a Pokemon.
