My car has just decided to display this message after 4 years of ownership and 2 sets of tyres. The tyre pressure is fine. I can also confirm my car does not have and sensors and only has the standard rubber valves. It has not been stood unused either. Im going to reset it and see what happens. If it comes back on i will investigate further and update here my findings.
Do all w204 2011-2014 have tyre pressure sensors? I have a w204, 2011, same as the one on the video, and I keep getting “check tyre pressure” message on the dashboard, even after I reset it. Pressure does not go down though. I thought it was a bad sensor so i took it to a few garages, and some are saying that my car doesn’t have tyre pressure sensors, as it works off the ABS system. Others are saying that mine got removed when they changed tyres and put regular valves instead. I am a bit confused. Is there a way of finding out whether or not it is supposed to have sensors ?
my Car keep saying check tire pressure when all my tires are fine and just yesterday I have bought 2 front brand new tyre and the Tyre fitter guy said there is not valve pressure sensor your car is only standard rubber valves But unfortunately my car still saying check tyre tyre pressure run flat indicator thanks for any answer My car is 2014 Mercedes E class
On 2014 E class you should have a sensor in each wheel. Sounds like someone removed them? Only genuine sensors should be used. Aftermarket sensors don’t work.
Easy and quick explanation unlike some who talk for 5 mins before getting to the point, Thankyou very much
