    Own one in Alpine White in most basic trim with only a convenience package. I love the way it drives. The price was surprisingly very reasonable for what you get! Below $40,000 you can get a fun to drive luxury coupe with quick acceleration and sporty feel.

    Love this. I can't believe they're getting rid of so many excellent features for 2023. I actually bought a car from Spencer (F31 M-Sport) a few years ago and I was so happy he was my salesman. Turns out he's an even bigger BMW nut then I am, and as an enthusiast, it was so awesome to work with someone equally as passionate about cars.

    Still better than the 2023. Not a fan of the new iDrive8, where I have to rely on the touchscreen for things that are better off as a section of real buttons

    This is almost exactly the same size and power as the E46 330i coupe. The 3-Series has gotten so big and heavy. I like these more than the 3-Series, it just feels like more of a classic driver's car. I think these are good looking and modern. This and the M3/M4 with the snout look better in person than they do in pictures. The ZF 8HP is legendary but a driver's car should have the option for a manual.
    It's dumb that it shares a name with the ugly badly-proportioned 2-Series Gran Coupe sedan thing. That's a car that should not exist.

    IMO, the previous 2 series coupe looks better than this. This isn't as bad as the 2 series sedan though.

    They really phoned in the styling on this one. Looks like they just took their corporate grille, corporate headlights and threw some huge black triangles on the bumper to make it look aggresive(?)

    My Veloster n has more power than this 50k car lol

    • @postalpancho
      @postalpancho Год назад +4

      Yeah but this is still a BMW. In 10 to 15 years they will still be on the road, being built as project cars and being tuned for track duty. Meanwhile your Veloster will be in a junkyard forgotten and unwanted. Ain’t nobody fixing up Hyundai Tiburons, or Genesis coupes, ain’t nobody want that. Yet you go to the track and you will routinely find 138i, 235i, e46 and other BMWs. At the end of the day BMW is an enthusiast brand and Hyundai is a car manufacturer that cheaply slaps things together to sell at extremely low prices. You get what you pay for buddy. Just look at all the poor welds under your Hyundai.

      @@postalpancho the engine in my car is the 3rd generation of theta, your assumptions are based on stereotypes of the prior engine families. Not to mention this car was the project child of the former head of the BMW M division, Albert Beimann; to your own praises this is the car that kickstarted the brand so it will be a highlight, do your research

    • @postalpancho
      @postalpancho Год назад +3

      @@johnnyappleseed9568 yeah and at the end of the day it is just a souped up econobox. Literally every Hyundai owner tries to act that saying Albert from the M division gives you some kind of street cred but nobody cares, car will still end up in the junkyard in less than 10 years. He only tuned the car, he didn’t design it from the ground up. You type in “Thata” on google and you get hit by recalls, failures, and settlements. Lol meanwhile the B48 is reliable as hell, BMW is ranked 3rd in reliability and is a great tuning platform with tons of potential. Forged internals, closed deck design, can fit wider tires, and the list goes on. Can’t believe someone driving a Hyundai would pretend their car is better than a BMW. 🤣😂

      @@postalpancho hey bud id be embarrassed too if I paid 50k for an ugly ass car like this and still get gapped by a Hyundai 🤣 you have to admin bmw lost their way, far below 300 horse in 2023 for a sports car is unacceptable

    • @postalpancho
      @postalpancho Год назад +2

      @@johnnyappleseed9568 you just thinking that because you broke, drive a Hyundai and want to make yourself feel better. How about you take your car to a race track and watch it fall apart attempting to keep up with real sports cars. Don’t get it twisted, you have an economy car with a few extra parts, not an actual sports car. They drive way different.
