I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out how Teal’c could get him to talk when Rob Cooper - as he often did whenever we reached a creative roadblock - had a suggestion. In this case, simply have Teal’c lean in and whisper something in the operative’s ear. Something so terrifying that the operative immediately starts talking. So, what did Teal’c whisper in his ear? Something just too horrible to repeat."
Although I suppose Christopher Judge whispered *something* during the scene which a lip-reader might decipher.

The thing about pain and violence is that they tend to freeze the mind, the suspect/victim is too busy to think. Most of the time you don't only need an admission of guilt, you need information. If the subject cannot remember his own address you are in trouble.
Being what Teal'c is, he could just whisper to the guy about the mating habits of the Dzur of Rung. And about how he could arrange for the subject to see them. First hand. They are something like spider wasps.
