    Mine arrived yesterday. Took them on a 10 mile run today. This review is spot on. At first I thought it may be too mushy but once I got into the groove of the run it felt amazing. Great review!

    Hi Matt, hope all is well with you😊 You may remember that I’m a bit of a Mizuno fan, having used Ultima 11, Wave Rider 24/25/26 and Ultima 13. I’m very interested in the Neo Vista as I wasn’t that keen on the WR 27 and the reviews I saw. In fact I bought some Puma Velocity Nitro 2s in January. Maybe I should ask Mizuno for a pair to try😊

      @ozenfant_ozn 4 месяца назад +1

      idk but i do like the chartreuse one. i'd prefer if they'd bring the og dazzle camoflage, i liked that. i'd also rather wear that casually after they reached the end of their life cycle for running, rather than shock-neon yellow, or that rather boring deep blue. would have to see that in person though of course.
      whatever, i hope they perform, lol. :)

    • @TolunayOrkun
      @TolunayOrkun 4 месяца назад +1

      There is a bright green colorway as well. The women's colorway is white with some light blue accents. Personally, I really like the blue colorway. I would wear them to work but I am an engineer is a tech company so it wouldn't be too outlandish for me.

    I am really looking forward to trying this shoe on foot at a local Mizuno event. They are doing a demo here on Global Running Day, but I am committed to another event at the same hour 😥
    Anyway, I think it is a beautiful shoe, with attention to details and the general consensus, I see has been very positive. I do like knit uppers. I like the knit uppers of Nike Epic React 2 and Alphafly 1. Infinity Run 1 was decent knit upper as well but some people experienced heel slip in that one. It looks like the heel cup in Neo Vista has enough rigidity to hold the heel well. ✅
    Will I get this one right away? Probably not but if they twist my arm by throwing in a good deal, it might be sooner than later. Currently, I am using NB RC Elite 2 more often in a similar function. 😅

      Also how is its energy return, basically how it compares to PEBA foam on to keep your leg fresh?

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  4 месяца назад +2

      This is definitely NOT a walking shoe. The heel is very soft and when I walk it seems as if it’s too soft. The foam firms up a little when running and becomes very comfortable.

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  4 месяца назад +1

      @@johnsonch7292 Energy return is very good but remember this is a trainer and not a race shoe. The energy return does not feel as responsive as a PEBA foam (but that could also be a product of the stiffness of the plate).

      I haven’t run in the SC Elite v4, but I have run in the Rebel v4 (same foam, no plate). The SC Elite is a race day shoe, rather than a trainer, so it’s definitely going to feel more snappy. The NV is a much softer ride.

    How would you compare this vs the Tyr Speedworks? Especially as an all-rounder shoe for a forefoot striker? I like my Tyr SW a lot and wondering if the vista is a close competitor?

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  4 месяца назад

      Without you saying it, I wouldn't have thought to compare the two. They're quite different in appearance (obviously) and in ride. I don't think of the Speedworks as a super trainer, although by some definitions it could be. With that said, if I take a step back I think they are both a solid option for the same all-rounder status.

    • @dynamike9248
      @dynamike9248 4 месяца назад +1

      @@its_Matt_B_ Thanks! By this "I don't think of the Speedworks as a super trainer" did you mean you considered the vista a notch up as a more premium "super" trainer? How would you compare the suitable range of paces among these two? Would you say Vista is more towards the speedier side vs SW, but guess both would have quite a lot of overlap, as I feel the SW is a pretty fast shoe. Not sure if read you correctly :)

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  4 месяца назад

      @@dynamike9248 You’re right about there being a lot of overlap, but I think the SW definitely feels better at speed.
      The NV feels fine running at tempo pace but I would choose the SW if I had a workout on the books. The NV is almost more well-rounded, as it feels like it belongs at a wider range of paces. With that said, it feels very soft at slow speed, so it may not be ideal if you don’t like a soft shoe (The softness goes away with speed, imo).
