I was 19 when I fell pregnant with my son. I was living with my dad and step-mum at the time. When I phoned my birth mum to tell her the first thing she said was...You're having an abortion. I told her I was not having one as I was keeping my baby. She tried and tried and tried to change my mind and even suggested having him adopted. I stuck to my guns and I had my beautiful baby boy. My mum was my birthing partner and she fell head over heels with him the second he was born. I'm so glad I kept my son as he's now 34 years old and so handsome 😍

As they say, it's very likely for teens to have subsequent births in rapid succession. I'm not sure why that's so true since you'd think we'd learn AFTER the first one! Only thing I can contribute it to is the brain not being developed enough to foreshadow the awful consequences of our behaviors. This is why I find it hard to punish young teens for breaking the law as adults. It's very obvious that the brain of young ones do not see themselves as vulnerable. Kids having kids is never a good idea. The baby should be given up for adoption. It forces the rest of the family to raise another baby. The young girl who has the baby never gets ahead in life and the child never gets a break either.

Thinking back to when my boys were born the main thing around that time period that I remember is the tiredness, mits a hard bloody slog and there’s no checking out! You’ve got to match on through it until the baby is in a routine but then the colic starts then the teething, the then the terrible twos 😂 AND then they become teenagers 😱🙄😂 When I hear of girls getting pregnant to “keep” their man I’ve got to laugh at the stupidity of it. It’s the most difficult, challenging time, hormones, sleep deprivation, feeling isolated etc..You don’t have time for yourself let alone a man FFS! Babies are a godsend however but you’ve gotta be one strong woman (which we all are) to battle through and come out the other side with well turned out, respectful, responsible, loving kids.

I watched this because I am intrigued by anything UK as I was born there eons ago but our family left when I was child. I find this so disturbing I'm unsubscribing. Today there is s-o-o-o-o-o-o much more information about contraception than any previous generation, why is this happening? I want to empathize but am stopped in my tracks by the abysmal ignorance on display, by the teens and parents. Somewhere along the line, parenting and boundaries were abandoned. There's nothing cute about it. This video cites 3,000 teen births/year in the UK. How can the country's social welfare system even sustain this situation? Very very sad.

I find this new generation of kids walking on clouds in away. They have no fear of not having a roof or not being able to pay bills. they seem to know that their parents will allow them to continue to live under their roof and to continue to pay their bills and to help them with daycare. It just doesn’t seem like there’s a real reason for them to be protecting themselves against pregnancy. I’ve been watching these episodes quite a bit, and all of these girls and men are the same way, there’s no fear in them because they know that they won’t be out on the street. Not that I think that they should but when these little 14 year-old girls sit there and say they’re against abortion well you might think differently if you don’t know where your next meals were coming from and you don’t have a roof for you and your soon to be newborn baby.
