Its official designation is the TIE/dg starfighter, its common name is the Sith TIE fighter, its more common name is the TIE Dagger, and then a kid told me once its real name is the TIE Dorito... What we do know about this TIE design (other than its pointy wings) is that it was the intended replacement for the standard TIE Fighters, being slightly better as a dogfighter and easy to manufacture in great quantities. There is no data that it could outperform interceptors or any other specialized starfighters.

I'm just now realizing how obtrusive those wings must be for the pilot. Imagine trying to check left and right with those taking up the view!
Just like Palpatine's return: somehow.
It would explain what took them so long to take down like 20 ships
And in theory the panels on a tie fighter are solar panels so not sure why you would want to cover up one panel with a second one. But
Stars wars ships have never really made
Sense so nothing new there
They rely more on their computers than the viewport
And that’s why it would lose a dog fight….regardless
Ah, been waiting for this design to be added to the collection.
Although, I still wait for a minifigure scale HAVw-A6 Juggernaut (though I guess I’d settle for an A5…).
love the Doritos and Star wars collab
would also love a minifigure scale gozanti cruiser 😂
Best ship of that trilogy
Absolutely
Kylo's Tie Silencer Ep8
Great design
Another banger by Acemocs!
The original TIE fighter makes so much more sense, it doesn’t need landing gear to land on a random planet, while the TIE dagger, although cool looking in my opinion, has no way to land with its triangle wings.
The original TIE fighter didn't land on the solar panels, it was hung by its struts, the TIE dagger does the same
These were so hard to spot in the movie along with the sith troopers lol
ah yes the RUclips play button Tie, looks cool tho
DORITOS!!
XD
DONT FORGET THE MOUNTAIN DEW
The back is highly inaccurate, it should have two vertically stacked reactors just like the existing Lego set, and the Twin Ion Engines are small red highlights spread horizontally on the rear of the sphere, closer to the wing struts. Also, when you look at official TIE Dagger top views, the cockpit is more oval than it is round.
Nice one.
I hope that the designer will also make the TIE VECTOR
Made by EC Henry
A far superior design that makes infinitely more sense from a logical standpoint
@@willypete7837 Every ship that EC Henry designed is better than what Disney made for the sequel trilogy...
@@justthink1616 based
@@willypete7837literally looks almost identical stfu
Please make an updated LEGO Astromech Droids collection
thanks for making my childhood!
I dub thee: the "phyneas flin Fletcher fighter".
First time seeing this fighter I first thought this thing looks like an interceptor but reality it’s just another standard fighter.
amazing creation you should make a minifig scale Nu class shuttle tho
You should do a minifig scale separatist trident assault carrier (the squid ships that attack kamino)
when a ratchet and clank inspired set ?
I'm sick of being polite. Supermarine Spitfire lineup. Do it (please)
Do the xyston class star destroyer please?
Now, you should work with EC Henry and remake his TIE Vector.
are you guys planning on streaming again?
also what happened to Mark?
HAVw A6 Juggernaut , mandalorian Fang Fighter , mandalorian Gauntlet fighter T6 shuttle
You should make a moc on the tie javelin creator TJ brickwrite
When you order these, do they give you the parts?
Are you sure you orientated the thrusters correctly? I can't remember for the movie, you must see them for 40 seconds on the screen and still, it was rather blurred, from memory, and there's no way I'm going to re-watch the trilogy that completely killed my childhood heroes and their descendants to check this fighter, much too depressing. But in most of the artwork I could find, AND in the official Lego model, the thrusters at the rear of the cockpit, are oriented vertically, one below the other.
Edit : 1:18 Ok, good news: the plans are good, it's vertical, (I was right!), bad news, someone built the Tie wrong.
I don't even like TROS that much. but half of your comment is such a tantrum, maybe if you rewatched the sequels you might realise that they're really not that bad, and just as flawed as the prequels were
@@TheBrixHub No, it's not a tantrum. It's a depressing analysis.
I understand that someone can love them, especially if they discovered Star Wars with them, but for my part, the idea of my heroes dying without descendants depresses me. I don't rage when I think about these films, I just get depressed. So no, I won't be seeing them a 3rd time.
I hope you'll agree that the script isn't good. Already individually it's average at best (ep 7), and then when you look at the continuity from episode 7 to 9... Downright pathetic !
But I admit that there are some excellent scenes in each episode. Surprisingly, it's episode 8 that has the coolest scenes of the post-logic, even though it's the worst story-wise. I'm thinking of the light-speed charge and the fight against the imperial guards. And even these scenes are problematic. The guards acting after Snooke's death is stupid for guards, and charging in light speed raises the question of the real danger posed by the Death Stars if you can just run into them with a big thing. Pretty sure you wouldn't even need to sacrifice yourself with autopilot.
It's also vaguely amusing to imagine that Solo and Skywalker are ultimately the pets of Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
TIE DORITOES
My wish came true I l
Its a shame this ship isnt canon
Literally rather release anything other that the at-ot
What’s wrong with the AT-OT?
Almost all sequel designs are just stupid. The tie fighter style ships served a very specific purpose during the empire, but they were not good for war conflicts, neither the ISD, not to mention the resistance ships
The empire used it during war conflicts. They had a whole thing called the galactic civil war. The First Order wanted to serve the same role as the empire
The first order isd was actually a good design, visually and practically
@@tomerorlevi1673 the fact that it had point defense puts it leagues above the imperial version
@@tomerorlevi1673 In deed they were, one of the few
@@xSuperFryx Negative, the first order wanted to dethrone the new republic, even though they had the starkiller base, it still would be necessary good fighters. And a civil war is not the same thing as an open war....
I don't care how inaccurate it is, to me, it is just another ship from the sequels.
As good as its built, it's the most stupid design ever. Model is beautiful don't get me wrong. But never should i fly one, were it the only transport around.
