Great video! I got a really good deal on a used AP. Email Cobb probably 10 different times, going through the math on what would cost what. Actually found a used AP with some parts for a VA STI. From my understanding and speaking with Cobb it would cost me 150$ at the time to relicense it to my VB. Bought the used AP for $120, and a drive 2hrs away, lol. I didn't haggle with the seller just wanted him to be honest with me and I was honest with him. The day I contacted him I just ask for proof that it was unmarried and to also provide proof in person that it was unmarried. You can also plug the AP into a power source to check, you don't have to plug it into your car. Sat in my car for a good couple months while I stock piled parts. Again great video, the fb pages I'm on people go back and forth on weather you can get a used AP, or get one from a different car to work with the VB. My car is tuned at around 380hp, and 410tq through CTT.

Nope! You will need to have an AP set up for the ecoboost or you will need to send it to cobb to re-license it. But there are some limits. I will sell your current AP and pick up a used one. Used ford AP's are generally cheaper, so you will likely take some money off the table!
Bought a used 2013 STi SE from a dealer The car still had the tune from the previous unmarried AP. I bought a brand new access point but was unable to transfer the preloaded maps.... Any ideas on how to get the preloaded maps transferred over to the new access port as the car was specifically tuned for the performance parts added?

That's the way to do it! Have you done projects as involved in the past?
Hi, heard the STI is coming back for this wrx. Do you regret not waiting? Excited but don't know if it's true. You should make a video about it.
I’m parting out my 19wrx can I un marry my accessport and remarry it to my f150 3.5 ecoboost? Thanks and super helpful channel!

You are going to have to re-tune the ride!
I bought a used accesport for $330 thankfully it was unmarried so I saved $400. I do agree that it is a risk
Nice deal! What ride did you buy it for?
