We have the same loader with a very similar setup. During fall clean up season, the crews leave in the morning and make piles just like this one. At around noon, the leaf truck dispatches and only picks up piles. Any time a pile is left, its communicated to the office/OPS manager so we can route an efficient pickup schedule for the second half of the day. Its some pretty heavy lifting for only one person to man the leaf vacuum, but it can be done. So to maximize our time, that's generally what we do. Clean up crews make piles or self contain if they have small amounts, leaf vac hits all the big spots. We've been billing these as hourly cleanups but are working on a system to flat rate it for ease of billing. Either way, this debris loader is a game changer. Thinking about getting a second rig set up this year.
Bought the 37hp billy goat in 2020. Broke the crank shaft in it first week of December 2021... 2 months later still no word on when the part will be in(back ordered). Been using our Echo Bearcat DL12 as a backup and man, it takes 2-3x as long to vacuum up piles. Works great when its working great! Parts/supply issues are a PIA right now...
So it took 30 minutes but in order to understand is it worth it i would like to know how much you made. Me and my 2 sons did a leaf job yesterday that we bagged. On 1 job we(3 of us)made $270 plus a $30 tip in 2 hours. Another job paid $200 for 4 hours with just my two teenage boys. Just trying to get an understanding of the investment vs the return. Thanks for any info
Nothings too big my friend. I did a quarter acre lot with an suv, buckets, and a trailer. Even used those things cost upwards of $6k CAD. You can get a smaller one that will allow you to get through some bigger jobs quicker that are meant to be towed behind a lawn tractor for $2k CAD but you can mount them to a trailer or you can even trailer mount a hand held echo for $300 CAD. You may not be able to charge the same but I've done many repeat jobs with buckets and blowers.
unbiased opinion truck loaders work great on pine needles, leaves wet r dry, mulch, hell if you have a large glass bottle in that pile because someone thought it was cool to toss it there while you were on break they'll suck them up too.
Could you please help me with ANY REFERRAL to someone local near Conyers or ANYWHERE in Atlanta that can help me with mounting my debris loader to my dump trailer? I’d rather deal with a fabricator experienced with it than not being.
How long did it take with that equipment and 3 worker. Is it worth it? Don't know. I see that 3 workers and a film crew made a great video. Cost of equipment and labor is not disclosed as well as what did customer pay for that service. I love yall videos but I don't know if is worth it.
Good point! 20 minutes / 3 Men. Customer paid $200. We did an equipment cost on another video. I think we paid 7K for the loader. I was hoping to raise more of a thought provoking question.Thx for watching and commenting.

Thanks for commeting. Sounds great!
Yes it's worth it! Leaf cleanups are a big job without the right equipment. I need a dump trailer like that for my Lawn Care business.
Thanks foe the video! You guys are an inspiration to my 1 man operation in NE Indiana....keep it up!

Hello everyone ; these leaves can be used as food for Farm Animals 🐐
I use it as compost
@@Hitm8kr Hello, It can be used in many ways, compost, feed, pet bedding. I use them for mulching tomatoes.
They eat leaves??
They eat leaves (maple, birch, pine, spruce,) most of all they like to eat maple leaves
Looks like that machine is worth it's weight in goal!!!
YES SIR!
Curious how you dump the trailer with the unit back there?
I have a video showing a mod we did to the trailer. That allows it to swing open just like the doors.
I have to get one of those leaf vacs. I've had several jobs I missed because of being to big to be bagging and my leaf clients have picked up a lot✂💯

Nice but would like to hear the motor running on the unit while working. At least for the first minute without the music
Next time
What landfill do you guys dump at? I can't find anywhere in Atlanta to dump the leaves.
Pratt in Conyers
What size dump trailer?
7X14
Workers in China use this to pickup litter from the street. Is it worth it to pickup leaves? That's up to you.
Well said. Thanks for commeting.
How do you dump this with the loader on the back of the trailer?
I show you in my later videos.
What size bill goat is that and price
I put in another video. Please check my channel.

do you have many clogging issues?
No!
@@Frompushmowertoprofits what backpack blower would you recommend thnxs
they dont like heavy wet leaves/full of twigs. They'll eat it but you're kicking the hose often
@@2147B thanks for the reply
How much you charged for that
It's usally $50 to $60 a hour
So if a Job is 4 hours at $50
It is $200.00 plus a $100.00
dump fee and it is $75 hour
If we suction wet leaves
How much did you charge for that job?
It should be listed in the video. Can't remember at this time.
Poor title for video. Nothing about any prices, that I saw, how are we supposed to decide if it’s “worth it”?
Meh, what a bunch of work lol, I'll stick to my cyclone rake.
Lol!
How much do you charge per yard
We do it by 1/4. 1/2,3/4 & full load. $200, $300, $450, $600
