I saw a palm tree leaning against my neighbor’s car but I think the car was okay. I don’t understand why trees can’t handle a little wind, they are so wimpy.
I've noticed roots of trees not being as deep rooted as they usually are. I'm in the UK.. we have seen a MASSIVE decline in our trees.. some are just rotten inside.. trees CAN handle strong winds.. but these days, they cannot. Like trees are under attack.
I think in Pinellas county, this Area has not had a Direct Hit from a Hurricane since 1921, a lot of These Trees just have never Been in those Sustained Winds of over 75 mph and the Ground has been Saturated with Rain, most Trees Survived and People are Safe
