The house next door may be next, a huge chunk of their yard is going as well. And for everybody who is bemoaning their financial status, c'mon, if it was you and a home you loved and invested in you would be devestated as well.
at least they have a 2nd waterfront property
Build your house on the edge of a clifff? I don't think so. I saw this same thing happen here in Alaska recently. It took 20 years though.
All that house for two people??
Maybe they have adult kids with grandkids, you know? And other relatives who visit?
watchgoose good come back.
@@watchgoose not now
@@watchgoose they didn't say anything about other family members. living or visiting
@@surveyguyor8958 who cares though people can have big homes for themselves?
You buy a house that's at the end of a Clif. You know what your signing off.
My uncle is going through something similar on lake Ontario. Only he is losing a plot with an RV on it.
Who the hell builds a house on a freaking cliff?
You build a house on the edge of a cliff and are in disbelief it fell😑
Seriously. It's like those idiots you hear in the news stories every hurricane season. There's always one. "They built their first house here 17 years ago. It was destroyed in a hurricane four years later. But they're not quitters, they rebuilt. And then 9 years later, another hurricane destroyed THAT house. Undeterred, they rebuilt once more. And today, another hurricane has carried their house off into the surf." (Cutaway to the people who have suffered through this three times now) *"WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO US???!!!!!!!!!"* she blubbers and bawls......
I have zero sympathy for people who can't take the frackin' hint.
Another case of homes built where there probably used to be forests which hold soil together.
I have never seen such ugly comments. This is someone’s home, that they have worked for, made memories in, and cherish. Wealthy people have souls and are genuine people too. Money isn’t everything. This is very tough and I hope the best for them.

They're jealous. I'm not judging cause I used to be like that till I became a stronger Catholic. Being thankful is a struggle, but it's made me a much happier person, I'm no longer as miserable, and I hope someday they turn to Jesus and see the error of the sin of jealousy and covetousness.
Who doesn't realize what a chance they are taking with a house that's perched on a cliff??? Duh!
Had a house down the road, really sucked to see that happen. Beautiful house nice people.
Look at where this house is, didn't you guys see this, come on man.
There's a sand cliff in my village that keeps falling very slowly every year. And then there's a shed hanging off of that cliff and refusing to fall. The cliff keeps falling around it and the shed still stands. Every year I come there and think when will it finally fall xD
That's funny!
@@SURENITY And it's still standing to this day xD
@@AllergicToFantasy Okay, I'll try to remember 🤣It's still standing though
Thank god that you weren’t inside at the time
Why would you live on a dirt cliff!???? Hmm I wonder what could ever happen years from now....duh!
This is why you never build on a cliff...
Money isn't everything, can't always solve your problems, the end is near
shut the hell up man they never said everything is money.
I know it's been 7 years ago, but why in the world would someone build a house or any structured building near a cliff knowing the ground could give way? Must be brainless
