Realistically, there were only two coverage busts this game. One where Kani got burnt up the middle, another where woodi (sigh) got burnt. I blame the play call on the kani bust. Brought the safeties up close on a TD throw. It was man on man. The other successful deep throws were just really good catches by the WRs that wouldn’t happen most of the time. Auburn WRs probably played the games of their lives
Amazing game! And I gotta say, I don’t think Joe Tessitore gets enough love! That dude gets fired up! I’d be ok with him calling the rest of our games this year.
@@aarongonders7278 I honestly like him more than Kirk and Fowler. Gus and Joel are good too. But give me Tessitore over McEllroy and the guy he’s usually with (can’t remember his name at the moment) anytime!!
For those of y’all hating on Litrell, and I get it, take a moment to realize that calling plays for a unit using players who didn’t get the majority of reps in practice. That’s normal in college football. This is a mostly crippled lineup. All 5 receivers are out, the TE are transfers, the offensive line hasn’t been healthy at all though not as bad as the WRs are. These players aren’t gonna be able to execute as well as those they replaced who got the most reps and that’s gonna affect play calling. All of these factors limit what your offense can even do within its playbook. Btw RMT…he’s getting some sort of award this year.
not trying to defend him, but we are missing our top 5 recievers due to injury, missing Tatum due to injury, and the OL is dogshit. not all of this is on Litrell
@@calebpendleton9056 my thing is the offense is so predictable. No creativity. A top tier OC would still find ways to move the ball down the field regardless of injuries. Luckily we have Hawkins who can run, but the more tape on Hawkins, the easier it will be to eventually shut him down as the season progresses. Litrell would make a great pee-wee football OC, not an OC in the SEC lol
7:46 is one of the best QB baits i've seen in awhile lol OU showed em Zero Blitz which means no deep safety's and man coverage across the board with all LBs blitzing in the middle ... the read is always the slant when you see this look ... if the LBs crash in that slant is easy and wide open money ... except the LBs were faking blitz then dropping and dropped right into that obvious slants path brilliant and smart call
There a reason those are incomplete. The same reason the Auburn QB was peeling himself off of the turf repeatedly all day long even when he would make the throws.
For all the "Sooner Magic" silliness, Auburn gave the game away. If your idea of "magic" is someone tripping over their own feet, you must love participation trophies too.
You’re right nothing magic about an outstanding play call On defense and Lewis making a great snag of the ball then taking it to the house. Nothing magic about Thomas beating the left and right tackles on consecutive plays for sacks. No magic involved in holding Auburn to one score in the second half.
“Auburn gave the game away” lol excuses man excuses. No Oklahoma stepped up when they needed to and were the better team in the second half. Oklahomas offense and defense stepped up when it mattered and that’s what won them the game. Auburn had the game in the bag the first half and then gave up and Oklahoma came back stronger. They underestimated Oklahoma and that’s what happened. If your excuse is “auburn gave the game away” everytime they lose a game that just means Auburn is a shitty team and I feel sorry their fans. Give credit to Oklahoma in how they played in the second half.
No they got outplayed. 2 score lead is never safe at the start of the 4th. Play all quarters. One gives the game away if they were dominating which Auburn was not
Mr Mac we really appreciate your highlights
Sooner Magic beats Jordan Hare Voodoo
My glorious king Mr Macintosh
That last R Mason Thomas sack on 4th down had me so hyped. He’s unstoppable when he’s knows you’re passing deep
His first step is CRAZY when its passing down
I think we know who the QB is. ... MH9

That's not what a coverage bust means he just got beat not the same thing
Everyone seems to play the game of their lives against us lol
unfortunately its almost always woodi getting burnt😭 love him tho

He’s definitely one of my favorites.
I'm not the biggest fan of Joe Tess but I gotta give it to him, the call on the pick 6 was perfection

Tessitore sucks. One of the worst announcers out there.
@@patbrooks9823 Based on the two comments you’ve made on this channel, I’d say you’re probably a horribly miserable person to be around. Hahaha!
10:38 R Thomas Mason getting off his block and quickly closing in for the sack is some of the best defensive play I’ve ever seen.
Winning a SEC game with all backups and a true freshman qb on offense👌🏾 #Boomer

Thanks for another highlight video Mac! Started watching in 2019 and haven’t missed an upload since. You’re awesome!
The crowd was so loud on the pick six. Way to represent OU fans!!!
The number one highlight channel McIntosh
11:35 Robert Spears-Jennings! Damn dog that was phenomenal work!
Many thanks for this video and all you do!
What a game!
I had no idea how fast Michael is. Wowee.
Thanks for the QUICK UPLOAD!! Never miss your highlights!!
Thanks, Mac. Great work.

@@derekd5490the problem here is that even with most of those guys in these past few weeks they have still been bad
And under no circumstances has running the ball up the middle worked for us, and yet we just keep going back to it and staying behind the chains

Am i the only one who thinks incomplete passes by the opposing team that were wide open arent highlights?
There a reason those are incomplete. The same reason the Auburn QB was peeling himself off of the turf repeatedly all day long even when he would make the throws.
they show pressure plays by the defense
#8 for Auburn is stupid fast! He ran kip down like he isnt pretty fast himself.. impressive
LFG!!!
Hawkins going Bradford mode for that 2 pt is all I need to see. Whole team will play better seeing stuff like that. QB1
He summoned his inner Elway, too 😂
Boomer freaking sooner baby
🙌🏻 Boomer Baby 🙌🏻
Sounds like OU fans made the trip... we're louder than the Auburn crowd!
this team has parrellels with the 85 team
JJ Hester can be a problem if our guys just trust him enough to get the ball to him.
You mean if he can catch the ball consistently?
@@ripclaybourne how many drops did he have? He reeled that 60 yard bomb right in.
