    It’s amazing we get 5 interceptions yet no one is talking about Oklahoma. I like it! Keep flying under the radar Sooners and we might not have to worry about “choking” cuz everyone’s expectations for Oklahoma is low. That means we can play lights out!

    Funny thing. The last time OU was coming off of a bad year and started the season ranked #20 was back in 2000. Seeing these first three games of the year, with a few lucky breaks along the way, there's a non-zero chance we could see it again.

    • @Roshfps
      @Roshfps Год назад +3

      There's a lot of funny things that are similar to that 2000 season. 1)Coached by a 2nd year coach with a first name that starts with B 2)Played vs arkansas state in the nonconference 3)Starting quarterback is left handed

      @@robbyclark6915 I don't know the football gods and I'm not superstitious or religious but it's a pretty funny coincidence that (B)ud Wilkinson, (B)arry Switzer, and (B)ob Stoops are the coaches that have won a national championship with OU. For some reason L guy didn't work out. Nobody actually thinks we are winning it all this year, including me.

    Texas struggled against Wyoming for 3.5 quarters, OSU payed South Alabama 300k to whoop them, and TCU isn't nearly as good as past years. We are a dark horse contender for Big 12 Champ this year. Red river shootout will be the most important game of the year.

    Texas has yet to drop 40 in a game. Even against Rice and Wyoming. OU should have scored more on SMU, but there were many miscommunications and boneheaded conservative play calls. Tulsa is not a big school, but they are not a bad team for a G5 squad. They've become a lot better since the 2000's and they've played many good teams pretty tough over the years. Before getting destroyed by washington, they destroyed the team they played before.

    • @user-rn1br5tq5j
      @user-rn1br5tq5j Год назад +2

      Miscommunication yes but not boneheaded. Smu just had a good defense that sniffed simple plays. Ou doesn't want to use the book for other players to watch the tapes.

    • @justinklinck6575
      @justinklinck6575 Год назад +1

      @user-rn1br5tq5j eh, true. It just kind of made us look weak that day. But that's a good idea. Jenks highschool does the same sh*t. Lose a couple, cut close in a few, then absolutely clap the strong teams (or at least play them tough) late in the season and playoffs.
