Watching your content makes me smile and laugh for various reasons, but I'll just focus on two. One, I smile and laugh because you provide damn good, priceless content with delivery that is perfection, hits, and gets to the gist of things. Two, I smile and laugh because with all of the information you provide, I can literally make no excuses. Literally none. Can't afford a gym membership? Here are some things you can do at home. Don't have access to machines or weights? Here are some moves you can do in place of that. It's too hard to do certain moves? Here are some subsitutions that can get the job done while meeting your body where it's at. Also, fun fact, walking is priceless. The scale isn't going down? Keep fcking going. Progress ain't linear. Fruit has too much sugar and vegetables are poisonous ? Nobody got fat off of blueberries, and what has this world come to? Eat the salad, Sharon. I fell off the wagon. Im a failure? If you have one flat tire, do you slash the other three? No, so just move forward. I don't feel motivated to workout or eat sustainably? Tough sh!t, Charlie. Sometimes we gotta do things we don't feel like doing because it helps us feel our best, achieve our goals, and better our health. I can go on and on and on, but I just want to thank you for all that you do because I'm gaining years to my life from smiles and laughter alone, but most importantly, from taking in and implementing all of the golden information, advice, and guidance you so generously share with us on a consistent basis. Thank you again. And p3nis.
You're incredibly kind, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. It means the world to me. Also...you win a FREE month in The Inner Circle. Email me jordan@syattfitness.com and I'll get you set up.
Yes !! Nobody speaks about this, infact they dont even take you seriously if talk about home workouts. And its not always possible for mums, others with tight schedules, ppl that dont know about equipment or suffer from social awkwardness and gym anxiety etc.
One of my supervisors I guess finally noticed I’ve lost weight. It’s taken me 2 years to lose 30 lbs but somehow he implied like I just started to lose weight 🙄 I’m in the military so this is common talk and I’ve been on the body composition program AKA - I’m overweight and the Army is tracking me that way. Anyway, when he started asking what I’m doing I said strength training and some cardio but of course nutrition has been it for 2 years. He asked where i work out. I said at home. He said “oh, you have one of those bikes? Peloton?” 🤣 😂 🤣 Yeah… I got myself to go from barely lifting the 45 lbs bar to 170lbs on that peloton bike. 🙄 I do have a peloton and I love it, but I also have a rack, a couple of benches, plates for the barbells (straight and hex bar), etc. in the last 12 years I’ve added little by little to that “gym.” What started as a few barbells in my living room is practically a full gym in my garage.
My favorite video from you. As a grandma aged person it's a bit daunting. Working out with arthritis & joint replacements is very different from 30 years ago. Some videos for us older folks with orthopedic and/or balance issues would be fabulous. Your knowledge & personality are one of a kind! Bless you & family!
“Do not skip to the end”. It’s a Jordan mantra! Great video. I was looking at adjustable dumbbells and put off by the cost but 10 years with one set is impressive. Thanks, Lotty.
Tried all the techniques with you as you demonstrated them, lol. Started my fat loss journey during year 2 of the pandemic (Jan 2021) and was blessed enough to buy a decent amount of equipment. Even though I'm back in the gym, I still like to do home workouts when I'm too lazy to leave my house. Can't wait to use these techniques to build strength and add intensity!!! Thanks for making such amazingly informative videos!!!
Loved the info about not demonizing food, I needed that bc I am even more rigid when labeling "bad foods" which in turn leads to shame/guilt when inevitable slips happen (and then they turn to "well it's already gone to hell so what does it matter"... It's a good perspective to have, thanks!
I did it. I did the lower body workout and 20 minutes of zone 2. I ran around my house for twenty minutes - sounds crazy and maybe it is. Thank you Jordan for this video! Just the inspiration I needed 🎉
Hi Jordan, came here after receiving the email. I have got back on strength training at home last month, as always this video was very helpful to modify my workouts in an effective way. I had no idea what to do to increase the intensity before, I was thinking about it this week and your email came. I was saved.😁 Thanks again Jordan..❤ I started working out for my mental health, because it makes my mood better. So, I usually workout 6× day (lower/upper) in morning and walking my dog at night. I don't know whether it is healthy or overdoing it, but this routine helps my mental health to be better. Therefore, I am sticking to it.😊
I took a break from social media for a bit. It was good but the downside is I miss content like this. Great stuff. Thanks for what you and Susan do here and on IG. Love you!
I love this. I have been working out at home with the same equipment for 2++ years. Some days I still get super sore despite the same weight I have been using over and over again. Higher intensity not necessarily heavier weight 👍🏽
Thank you for all the ideas to increase intensity. I have been looking for exactly this sort of information. I have a neuromuscular condition and my tremors get worse with workouts and my grip strength and balance can get worse so I avoid lifting very heavy especially anything over my head because of drop/fall risk. Trying to strength train to reduce or eliminate muscle wasting but balance it with recognizing my symptoms and fatigue level each day takes adaptability.
Thank you so much for this! I have been taking zumba classes for almost 15 years and I have pretty much stayed the same weight, 70 pounds over weight, and now I understand the importance of lifting weights and strength training.
Wow totally loved this video!! Jordan your the best. I’m doing some light weights and exercises at home but I’ve been rushing them and doing them wrong. I will now follow your guide which looks so great and doable. Keep being you, you are spot on about the food and the veggies! Omg of course they are good for us. Thanks so much 💕💕
When the pandemique hit, it changed the way I worked out. I had to take everything I did at the gym and shape it to fit something I could do in my garage. You helped make it possible for me to lose weight, keep moving, and get stronger. You kept it simple and informative. In fact, I think I did better at home than I did at the gym. You are priceless, Jordan, THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Weights are expensive especially as they increase so getting the most out of them is important. Also great info to know when my 12’s are too light but my next option is 20’s.
Perfect timing with travelling for work and not having access to gyms/equipment starting soon, thank youuuuu 💪 Mind you, lately the most I can do is show up and keep consistent with workouts- havnt been feeling pushing the intensity for a while but I refuse to give up entirely, can't wait for this phase to be over
Thank you. I really appreciated not only you talking about the level-ups but showing us in the video. And the workout plan was great! Appreciate your content.
Love the pause aspect to reps. Thanks for the great content; as always! P.S. it cracks me up that there was an ad for AG and we know how you feel about that kind of stuff ;)
As someone who only works out at home, I loved learning about the 4 intensifiers! This is going to be very helpful in my future workouts. About 2 years ago I purchased a set of adjustable dumbbells, and by far, it's been the best investment in making working out possible at home. I'm looking forward to creating new workouts and trying the intensifiers, thank you!
This was great! I had to recently leave my gym but have felt lost with only having at home equipment worrying my progress wont be as good. This has really shown me that I can still get effective workouts from home without needing to purchase a ton of equipment. Love the ideas given of adding intensity to my workouts and feel confident of being able to do this to any exercise. Really helpful, love the samples too.
Hi..the gym trainer never explains this stufff but always says dont take break or do slowly.this video makes so much sense i really know and feel powerful and intentional from today why or how im going to do.thank you so much just feel so much connected.
I've been working out from home for 8 months now, I have adjustable dumbells, a trx, a mat, a bench and some bands which I have bought over the 8 months. It has changed my life, I go out on my deck in the dark, rain, sun cold and done my workouts. I am stronger and fitter than ever. I'm 59 btw!!
I needed this! Besides being a busy mom with limited time, I've had bad experiences at the gym, so I don't go. I will add this to my June goals...thanks for your content!
Ayo! A new video -- love it! I have a gym membership but this'll be great for when I'm stuck at home due to weather, or kiddos being home from school for the summer, and still get that work out in.
Thank you Jordan for this super helpful video, it is right in time because I will be away from home for 2 month and only light weight is available. This will definitely help me save my muscles the next weeks. 🏋🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this! The heaviest db I have at home is 5kg and often think that’s not enough! Now I know I can make it more than enough 🙏
Thanks for the video. I don't have a lot of equipment and was going to look into workouts with minimal equipment when you video came up. Perfect timing!
Thank you so much for this video! I found it very usefull as I work on a ship where there is no gym. I do have a set of dumbells ( 2kg and 5kg) and some resistance bands. I knew about changing the tempo of the reps for adding extra resistance but the other!! This is awesome for me to twirk up my workouts! Thank you!
Great content as usual !! So i suppose when creating a full body workout (2 times per week) i would choose 2-3 exercises of a lower body workout and 2-3 exercises of the upper body workout for 1 day and repeat for the second day OR choose another 2-3 different exercises from the lower and upper body workouts for the second full body day (in order to change the exercises between both days).
This is the content I needed. I've got a 1 year old and seriously struggling to get to the gym. Looks like I need to make an investment in some adjustable dumbbells. I really struggle to do home workouts though, I just can't get in the mindset to do it, I'm so used to going to the gym and getting in the zone and having some 'me time'. At home I get a 1 sqm part of my kitchen as the only workout space, no alone time and constant distractions. I want to set a good example for my son as he grows up but I'm failing miserably 😔
Thanks for the video. Is this suitable for perimenopause , really need some help at the moment navigating through so much conflicting information about it ,not sure what's right or wrong and the best way to turn. 😢
Hey Jordan, i just ran into your channel and wanted to ask a quick question. Can you show some dynamic effort movements for the bench and some accessories? Thank you !
I have a shake weight!! LOL I started using it about 2 weeks ago. The funny thing is is that at first I couldn't do it for longer than a minute. I am now at one and a half minutes at a time and I do it while sitting on the couch watching tv.
On the inner circle at home body weight workout there is no option for a three day a week version with a full body on day three. I’m just doing leg, arm, leg on week one, then arm, leg, arm on week two. So the four week plan will take me just over 5 to complete, is that the right thing to do?
I joined the IC and been so busy that I haven’t had time to do much. I did start eating my proteins ,etc. I don’t have equipment at home, just a 15 lb kettlebell and a 2 lb dumbbell. I never really had problem with my weight in the pass, till now. I turned 54 in January and I’m pre menopausal, lost my energy and my job. I got depressed and I eat a lot at night. Anywho, I want to get toned , especially my arms! I have bat wings and want to lose the fat under my arms. I have big hips. Lol! And need to work on that.
My days are chaotic so sometimes do two leg days in a row...home based cross fit so workout will be squats for strength and then a 15 ish minute workout for strength/ heart rate. Next day is rdls...seems ok but probably better to have a rest day?
Im actually training home, besides my work making 7000 steps on a daily basis. Bought a spinning stationary bike, weights and some bands IT PAID OFF 🎉 IM DOWN WITH 12KG IN 13 MONTHS 🎉 It's doable and convenient to do your workouts home when having young children 👊
I'm a 17 yo teenager, and I use only my bodyweight and a backpack with a 1kg rice package inside it. And I do mostly of my exercises slowly and in a perfect form to increase the intensity.
What? Why tf would anyone skip all that info you gave on how you do it? Jesus Christ that is insane ofc we know not everthing is out but jesus christ thanks for the rationale behind the workout design

WOOHOO, shotout to Framingham Ma. Headed that way tomorrow to hang with family :)
FWIW I got a total gym and noticed physical results relatively quickly. Underrated equipment for home.

Thank you for always giving excellent advice & helpful information!!! 👌👌
Thank you! Super helpful information for us home workout folks!!! Also I love you and all your content!
Hey Jordan, are you going to make a speed and power video? how would I implement it exactly into my progressive overload workout? Thanks
You crazy bro, one two 3, I love it.
Getting back into working out. I now have a plan.

Hey Jordan, i just ran into your channel and wanted to ask a quick question. Can you show some dynamic effort movements for the bench and some accessories? Thank you !
Love how you broke down the ingredients in the burger
I just did the lower body. I literally cannot do 1 reverse lunge. Thanks Jordan.
My man! I'm gonna help with that. You win a FREE month in The Inner Circle. Email me jordan@syattfitness.com and I'll get you set up.

Questuin: if you don't have a weight bench, how do you do those exercises that you demonstrated with the bench? Thanks
Thank you so much for this! I’m excited to try the workouts! This muggle is about to be sore! 😂
Any reason you do seated bicep curls and not standing?
RDL too long to spell out 😂 I caught that😂
Awesome info & so well explained easy to understand‼️ Thx
Im actually training home, besides my work making 7000 steps on a daily basis. Bought a spinning stationary bike, weights and some bands IT PAID OFF 🎉 IM DOWN WITH 12KG IN 13 MONTHS 🎉 It's doable and convenient to do your workouts home when having young children 👊
I got a kettlebell , just do the same exercises?
Yay!!! Love your videos ❤❤❤
Thank you!
ok I'm really curious - what is the single leg plank achieving? usually I see it as core stabilizer exercise so genuinely curious :)
That shake weight picture popped up and I about died laughing!! Thanks for the good laugh! :)
I'm a 17 yo teenager, and I use only my bodyweight and a backpack with a 1kg rice package inside it. And I do mostly of my exercises slowly and in a perfect form to increase the intensity.
Dude, I was JUST thinking about this and gonna research it when I got to a computer then BAM!
