Loved the part where she mentioned about being on her own for the first time at a place where she had no contacts. This is one particular aspect about which me and my parents are always worried. It's somehow reassuring to see that these things happen with others also. Thank you so much ma'am for bringing out these little aspects of the journey out in open!

Thank you for making these videos. Just a tiny tiny feedback the music is a little distracting. Maybe ditch the background music next time 🙈 Lots of love 😊❣

Thanks for the honest feedback. 😊
I kinda like it when there is a background music of some kind. It felt too silent and ghostly when it was just us talking. 🙈

How difficult is it to get a OBGYN residency without any research or Do you know if any IMG(Indians) has matched into OBGYN with just good scores and few electives and no research ? Thanks🙏

Hi Doctors! I'm a fresh medical graduate from India and I've completed Step 1 and Step 2. I'm hoping to apply for OBGYN residency in the states. Family Medicine comes a close second for me, mainly because of it's tie up to deliveries. I was wondering if you would be able to connect me to Dr. Raji so I could get some help and advice from her on the process! Thank you!

Mahek Sodani you don’t need any certificates to prove. You can just mention them.

Hi ! I was wondering if Dr. Raji would be comfortable revealing
    1. Her program's name
    2. Whether she was seeking a visa ? If yes: J1 vs H1B
    3. The number of interviews she received / a general correlation of interviews received with match outcomes(esp. for OB/GYN)
Thank you so much for pushing out great content Dr. Lakshmi !!

OMG I can speak 7 to 8 languages (basic to proficient) and I learned them on my own and she said languages yayyy could that set me apart?? also I am still not in a medical college I am going to give neet ug this year but this was such a good motivation also I wanna be a plastic surgeon. Thank you for these kinds of videos please continue this series. Also another question does your ug college matter and if yes if I get a low tier college this time is a drop considered bad for USMLE please reply to this I have had this question for such a long time. Thanks also Congratulations

Definitely matter a good name of your college will help the programm director to identify ur med school than an unknown college name
