i made my bathrooms full of character for my sims, the kids bathroom is cluttered with stuff a teen would use ((and a child)) while the adults bathroom has a platform, stuff from the vampires pack, etc
It's the other way for me. I only use my bedroom during the night to sleep. I rather have a bigger bathroom so I can have space for a shower and bath which I don't since I'm only renting my house.
I'm too tall to really fit in a bathtub, my legs are too long. So I'd rather have a bigger bathroom so I can have a bigger tub and actually relax in a nice warm bath and rest my muscles in soothing hot water
IKR i always try to make my sims rooms small-smalmed sized even when i have like a million simoleons because i love the cozy feeling and im scared of big open space because i have an irrational need to fill every wall with something but idk what
@@deltadaze6836 I am familiar!! (The amount of time’s I’ve awkwardly crammed an extra bathroom in my sim’s house-) However I didn’t mean for functionality purpose. I’d like to see a smaller space be made out in a more appealing fashion, as well as being functional of course.
I am IN LOVE with this standing mirror from junge Adventure. One of my fav objects in this pack. You made such a pretty room, you are just sooo good at decorating
your builds really are great, the trick with using that shelf to put items on top of the cabinets is clever and i've never seen that before! the jungle adventure pack does have some really nice items
I like a large bathroom so I spend more time grooming and doing self care. I don’t need to be in the bedroom beyond sleeping, getting ready and relaxing before bed.
I love your calming voice. I never copy your tips in my game but it always inspires me to be more creative and i sometimes end up making something similar without thinking about it.
My favorite size for bathroom is 2x3 because it can fit a bath(or shower, depending on where you put the door) sink and toilet. Its also not to big. A perfect intermediate
Large room for sure! You can split it into separate sections and use it for multi purpose, but a large bathroom is just a large bathroom (while nice, it’s unnecessary)
Extra large Bedroom, always. Because I spend more time in bedroom. That's why I place a lot of activity objects in my bedroom, like pc, digital sketchpad, keyboard, radio, tv, fireplace, book shelf etc.
A spacious bedroom will make you feel less comfy at night since there's a lot of empty space. I personally like the idea of having a windowside bed so I can lean against the wall and stare at the outside. A spacious bathroom would be nice as it would incentivize me to move around more but in general, cozier bedrooms are much better.
Extra large bedroom or just really large study/library separate from my bedroom. Right now, my room is filled with book cases and I am trying to figure out how to bring my other furniture into the room. My bathroom doesn’t look cramped. It is cramped, like 1x3 with a door at one end. Maybe 2x3, but probably closer to 1.5x3 at best.
big bath, regular bed. i can't recall a time when i've been miffed by a small bedrm, but always the times when i bang my elbows on hard surfaces in a small bathrm
My bathroom is barely the size of my outstretched arms. My only complaint is that I wish I had a tub, but my shower is surprisingly spacious and I have everything I need. I live in a studio so technically have an XL room with all my ✨stuff✨ and I love it that way. 😊
my easy answer is extra large bedroom. I'm a musician and I have a lot of gear and need a lot of space for equipment and stuff, so it's beneficial to have a lot of space for that and also my little trinkets and doodads and whatnot that I display everywhere. Not to mention poster space!!!
I love this bathroom. The bathroom in the house my sims have in my current play feels really crowded for some reason, but this looks quite spacious. Might be time for a reno!
Personally I would rather have a big bedroom and a small bathroom because I barely spend anytime in my bathroom whereas I spend majority of my day in my bedroom. Love your videos so much and thank you for the build tips and getting me back into the sims
As someone who has a bedroom that you can barely fit a queen size bed and an entertainment stand in, trust me, you want a bigger bedroom the bathroom isn’t going to be somewhere that you spend 8+ hours every day typically.
Plus if the bathroom is bigger, it’s not like you can move most of the stuff around, so it just doesn’t really matter. I don’t need dressers in my bathroom or other stuff. I just need the toilet, tub shower combo, and a place to put the towels.
I want a big bathroom with a tv, 😂 I subscribed when I watched the second video. I love the way you do your bathrooms in the sims and LOVE your content! ❤
Large bathroom with big shower/tub and storage for my self care and beauty stuff. Smaller bedroom because all I really need is a bed and a closet. As long as I have a separate space for my art and stuff, a small bedroom is fine
I'm actually pretty good at decorating bathrooms even though I suck at decor and building in general lol but bigger bathroom and a smaller bedroom would be easier for me to make look nice. I go blank when it comes to decorating anything else.
I’d probably choose the bedroom, I feel like there’s a lot more to decorate with for a bedroom. For a bathroom it might be a bit harder? Love your channel Ashley! Your builds are so nice ❤ hope everyone has a great day! God Bless.
Big bedroom for sure because it has a lot more potential... Like, you can't combine an office and bathroom but you can combine an office and bedroom. Also, terrariums for animals such as snakes and lizards, lot nicer in the bedroom than the bathroom
I prefer to have a bigger bathroom, considering that I will only use the bedroom to sleep and watch TV at most (I have a separate office) because you spend a lot of time in the bathroom, whether doing yoyr necessities, taking a shower, getting ready, doing daily hygiene, skincare etc...
Big bedroom, small bathroom - I don't really care about the size of my bathroom but with a big bedroom ai could have a study + sitting space within it as well as a bed
100% an XL bathroom. I want a huge soaker tub and a walk-in shower, his-and-hers vanity, lots of storage... I only go in my room to sleep so I don't really care how big it is as long as my bed and my clothes fit.
i’d rather have a big bathroom and average room. even though i have a lot of stuff, small restrooms give me anxiety 😭 huge restrooms give me anxiety as well, so a nice in between “bigger than my closet, smaller than my room” bathroom would be perfect for me.
I prefer a water closet in my luxury sims 4 homes. A shower and a separate jacuzzi tub. The most expensive one that’s standard size tub with the headrest is my fav. Then… I have my sim upgrade all the plumbing for more bathing/shower/toilet/sink stability and perks. (And reduce my eco footprint blah blah blah).
For me it is easy I've always had a small bedroom so definitely the bigger bedroom, as you don't spend nearly that much time in your bathroom as your bed.
Bathroom purely bc I'm too tall for normal bathtubs and can't really comfortably relax when I want a nice relaxing bath. Maybe a big bathrooms means it comes with a nice big tub
My last apartment my bathroom was literally like a 2x2 sims build lol It had NO floor space it was so jam packed I couldn’t even put my cat’s litter box in there it was so small 😭 My bathroom now is at least like 4x6 sims tile wise now and lord its so much better lol I grew up in a tiny bedroom so id rather a small room than tiny bathroom, nothing is worse than feeling claustrophobic in your own bathroom 😭
We are in DESPERATE need of more bathroom decor / furniture / utilities. I know we just got the bathroom clutter KIT but that's hardly scratching the surface..
I find this bathroom to be large, for gameplay that is. My ideal Sims bathroom is 2x3. Sims are so slow that any added distance anywhere is to be avoided. And in real life, I really dislike large empty bathroom spaces. It feels inconvenient and cold. Obviously, there's a lot of factors like lighting, colors and the presence or lack of windows, but if most of the bathroom is empty space it's a no from me. This one in real life I think would probably be okay and it looks great here.
I wouldn't want to see myself in the mirror while I'm in the tub. I think I'd prefer the toilet beer the mirror is and a shower in the corner. That's my personal preference, though. This is a very nice build.
The only scenario presented here that wouldn’t be traumatic for an autistic child is the first one, where the child has a few days to process the change before it happens. Autistic kids (and autistic adults too) generally _need_ several days’ warning before a big upheaval like that.
Extra large bedroom and normal bathroom, honestly though I prefer both to be normal size but if I had too cool xl it would be bedroom bc I can just devide it into a bed space and a library or something while in bathroom I will kinda have to stick with bathroom stuff only
Xl Room for sure! I feel like it's a waste to spend it on the bathroom as you don't spend half as much time in there
i made my bathrooms full of character for my sims, the kids bathroom is cluttered with stuff a teen would use ((and a child)) while the adults bathroom has a platform, stuff from the vampires pack, etc
It's the other way for me. I only use my bedroom during the night to sleep. I rather have a bigger bathroom so I can have space for a shower and bath which I don't since I'm only renting my house.
How come Cause my sim once spent like the whole day in there lol
I'm too tall to really fit in a bathtub, my legs are too long. So I'd rather have a bigger bathroom so I can have a bigger tub and actually relax in a nice warm bath and rest my muscles in soothing hot water
Lol 3x4 bathroom is usually a big space in my builds 😂
same
that's what i'm saying this bathroom is huge
Same! I'll normally have 3x4 bedrooms for my sims kids and teens!
My bathrooms are 3x2 at best
IKR i always try to make my sims rooms small-smalmed sized even when i have like a million simoleons because i love the cozy feeling and im scared of big open space because i have an irrational need to fill every wall with something but idk what
I’d love to see your take at an extra small bathroom!! 3x3 or even 2x3 as a lot of the time that’s what you have to have in certain sims houses.
a 1x3 works just fine :)...--make it 3 wide, 1 deep, sink on one side, toilet on the other and wall shower in the middle where the door is.
@@deltadaze6836 you can actually even do this with 1x2, just use moveobjects.
Y’all my sims never had a bathroom bigger than a 2x3.. 3x3 if their lucky!!
can't help it i love tiny houses, those huge mansions are hard to decorate. they just never give off the same cosiness of a cluttered tiny home
my idea of a small bathroom is 1x2 tiles. genuinely. it fits a toilet, a sink and a shower!
I am IN LOVE with this standing mirror from junge Adventure. One of my fav objects in this pack. You made such a pretty room, you are just sooo good at decorating
my luxe sims bathrooms are 2x3 tiles or 3x3 tiles. normally I just do the 1x2 tile or 1x3 tile bathroom. this 'small' bathroom is still super luxe 😂😅
Same. I made small bathrooms so the other rooms can be bigger.
your builds really are great, the trick with using that shelf to put items on top of the cabinets is clever and i've never seen that before! the jungle adventure pack does have some really nice items
I like a large bathroom so I spend more time grooming and doing self care. I don’t need to be in the bedroom beyond sleeping, getting ready and relaxing before bed.
XL bedroom for sure, I spend a lot of my time in my room and I hate cramped spaces.
A perfect intermediate
this little bathroom crushes my whole build 😂
xl bathroom i love having a spacious bathroom, i prefer having more room when getting ready than when im sleeping. also smaller bedrooms are cozy
definitely extra large bedroom over bathroom space. This looks so beautiful. I love the simple yet elegant design.
I'd prefer an extra large bathroom so I could have a large bathtub.
🧐 I learned a new build hack.
I make my bathrooms with tall walls for a full outdoor hot tub
Large room for sure! You can split it into separate sections and use it for multi purpose, but a large bathroom is just a large bathroom (while nice, it’s unnecessary)
Right? It only serves one purpose
I like the use of the shelf to place clutter in correct hight, I will try that as well😄
Ashley: 3x4 is a pretty small bathroom :)
My sims living in 2x3 bedrooms:

XL Bedroom, you spend less time than you think in a bathroom.
Idk why having an average or small but modern looking bathroom makes me comfortable enough
My bathroom is barely the size of my outstretched arms. My only complaint is that I wish I had a tub, but my shower is surprisingly spacious and I have everything I need. I live in a studio so technically have an XL room with all my ✨stuff✨ and I love it that way. 😊
Xl room because I dance and rock out to music a lot, so more “stage space” is always very appreciated 😂
my easy answer is extra large bedroom.
I like how your neighbors can watch you while you're taking a bath
Personally I would rather have a big bedroom and a small bathroom because I barely spend anytime in my bathroom whereas I spend majority of my day in my bedroom. Love your videos so much and thank you for the build tips and getting me back into the sims
I feel like this is kinda big lol. Usually in my houses bathrooms are like 2x3

XL bathroom for a big bathtub and walk in shower. And sometimes that includes the walk in closet. So, yeah! 😄💁🏽♀️
May I steal ?? This is an amazing idea and it loooooks so good you did a greaaat job!!!
I would want a big bedroom because I could fit more things in there. (Plushies, a desk, a king-sized bed, etc.)
Using the modular shelf is genius!

I rather have a larger bedroom and an average bathroom. I love a spacious bedroom. Also good job as always!♡
ugh so freaking adorable
LIVING FOR THIS BATHROOM
Big bedroom, so I can finally have room for all my dnd stuff 😂
Extra large bathroom. I've always loved a spacious bathroom so I don't feel cramped in
I'm actually pretty good at decorating bathrooms even though I suck at decor and building in general lol but bigger bathroom and a smaller bedroom would be easier for me to make look nice. I go blank when it comes to decorating anything else.

Extra large bedroom because there is so mush you can have in your bedroom, and you only need the essential in a bathroom.
Big bedroom for sure because it has a lot more potential... Like, you can't combine an office and bathroom but you can combine an office and bedroom. Also, terrariums for animals such as snakes and lizards, lot nicer in the bedroom than the bathroom

The swatches on the counters are good but the only thing I can think of is those *CURSED* first swatch on the cool kitchen counters
Extra large bathroom all the way as long as it’s nice and has a big tub!

I mostly build cottages, and in those cottages the bathroom and bedroom are the same size.
This one is definitely not JUST A BATHROOM ☺️👍👏 I’ll be using this trick ! Thx
I only really need a normal sized bathroom so just a normal sized bathroom and a big bedroom is fine.
I prefer big bedroom, rather than bathroom, but this one looks nice.
Big room smaller bathroom. I spend more time in my room then bathroom
Big bath room cause I love a big tub lol
Larger bathroom , i like being in the bathtub like a mermaid 😁
adsjsa was watching your other shorts and this just popped up! ur banging these shorts out like your rent is due
Xl bedroom. Why, our bedroom should be our sanctuary and calm place.
Very nice however, it needs more counter space. I would remove the 2 middle cupboards at the counter height.
I lost it all when u put those cabinets on the counter 🤣
Sooooo beautiful
*EXTRA LARGE* Bedroom ANY day lol
XL room definitely
For me it is easy I've always had a small bedroom so definitely the bigger bedroom, as you don't spend nearly that much time in your bathroom as your bed.
I love this bathroom so much I think I’m gonna buy jungle adventure just to get this bathroom
i really like just hanging out in the bathroom for some reason so i’m gonna have to go with the big bathroom
Youre soo talented 😍
I like super tiny bath rooms and average bed room
2x3 bathroom is best
Bathroom purely bc I'm too tall for normal bathtubs and can't really comfortably relax when I want a nice relaxing bath. Maybe a big bathrooms means it comes with a nice big tub
I enjoy making bathrooms but I noticed even for a master bedroom I tend to lean more on a smaller bathroom while the bedroom is larger.
bedrooms are supposed to only be for sleep as per any literature on sleep hygiene so its kind of a waste of space to have a huge bedroom.
now a large study? thats different.
Large room for sure, that way I can stuff all the things I dislike in the room and slice them into pieces!
My last apartment my bathroom was literally like a 2x2 sims build lol
It had NO floor space it was so jam packed I couldn’t even put my cat’s litter box in there it was so small 😭
My bathroom now is at least like 4x6 sims tile wise now and lord its so much better lol
I grew up in a tiny bedroom so id rather a small room than tiny bathroom, nothing is worse than feeling claustrophobic in your own bathroom 😭
id rather have an xl bathroom cause i love bathrooms
3x4 is a massive bathroom, i dont think ive ever made one bigger than 2x3 lmao
small bedroom and a big bathroom for myself only
Large bedroom for sure. I'm fine with only showering.
I slept in a closet when I was a kid, so I'm used to small sleeping spaces. I'm 100% a Large bathroom kinda guy
HUGE bedroom
We are in DESPERATE need of more bathroom decor / furniture / utilities. I know we just got the bathroom clutter KIT but that's hardly scratching the surface..
I'd do an extra large bathroom it's just my peaceful place

All I want is a bathroom with a garden tub and a bidet
I’d prefer an Extra large bathroom, a large bedroom feels much colder and less cozy, besides bedrooms are already pretty large.
The only scenario presented here that wouldn’t be traumatic for an autistic child is the first one, where the child has a few days to process the change before it happens. Autistic kids (and autistic adults too) generally _need_ several days’ warning before a big upheaval like that.
Always makes me nuts when I have to pull items just a liiittle way out to not have the curtains merging with them but eh what are you going to do?
The smaller the bathroom the less to clean!
my bathrooms as almost always 2x3
Extra large bedroom and normal bathroom, honestly though I prefer both to be normal size but if I had too cool xl it would be bedroom bc I can just devide it into a bed space and a library or something while in bathroom I will kinda have to stick with bathroom stuff only
