I own the 37mm version of this timepiece, my only complaint is the crown, it’s so freaking small that it makes it extremely difficult to wind. Other than that it’s an amazing little timepiece.
Love the look and style of this watch. Though with the seahorses and stars on the case back and the chimes playing in the background at the 7:33 mark, it reminds of a child's crib mobile.
Hey Teddy! Great channel, sir. Regarding this grey Captain Cook, is the brushing exclusive to the dial color or have they updated the case across the line? They were fully polished in steel, not the hyper chrome. Curious to know! Thanks.
There's something a certain deja vu element in the video style of watch wrist shots. If the whole creature is moving in an out of foliage... Hey! Bigfoot.
teddy for Christmas I might be getting either a longines hydroconquest newer version or a tag heuer aquaracer calibre 5 or calibre 7 which watch do you think is best :) 😎👍
Does anyone else think that turning a working timepiece into some sort of fashion timepiece is wrong ? Decent works timepieces are being turned into trashy fashion watches. Worn by people who don't even swim let alone work 20 atmospheres down. Am I right or am I wrong ? I suppose taste is a funny thing 🤔 .
Low-key coolest feature on this one: those frosted hands. It's a looker~!!
captain cook is something which really makes me love rado a lot more as compared to my previous love for rados

I have the same 37mm reissue and totally agree with you. It's a pain to wind, don't think I get the full power reserve out of it. Cheers.
21mm lug width and no micro adjustment are deal killers. Otherwise I’d snatch this up. Great video, Teddy. Thanks.
100% agree, and add a resist lume pip, and your golden!
Love the love you give Rado, I have all different brands including Tag, Tudor, Longines but Rado is my favourite.
YAS TEDDY REVIEWS! Absolutely loved this review! I've kinda got a soft spot for these! Fabulous review!
Glad you mentioned that anchor thought I was seeing things

Thanks for doing this video sir, as well as all your work in the field.
Beautiful piece from Rado. Great video
I have the 42, ghost. outstanding watch!
Reminds me of breitling superocean heritage. I would love to have this watch, but I think it would make me wish I had a breitling.
Ill go with the beads of rice.. because im a Filipino and i love Rice…😎
I can't help but think that they have missed out by not doing a 40mm version. It would fit a wider variety of wrists. And 42 isn't very vintage.
Maybe eat more and work out so you dont have such a girly wrist.
Nice, tho with the ghost grey it'd look better with fauxtina imho. Handsome watch. Cheers mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Instead of a purple logo background, they should have made it match the dial like on some of their other watches.
Excelente video 😀.

A very nice watch, indeed!!

In a perfect world, I'd like it if they dispensed with the 42 and the 37 and just offered a 40.
That's a weird definition of "perfect." I think in a perfect world every company would just offer every watch in every size.
@@taylorallen5396 yeah probably is
What is the exact reference?

Longines I think delivers more for less in that instance.
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews thanks 😎👍
42mm seems large for a 6.25 wrist. Looks like somehow you made this work.
It's a relatively short lug to lug, that's why it works.
is the rado captain cook better than the longines hydroconquest 😎👍
absolutely
Teddy check out this Portuguese micro-brand, it's called "Meia Lua"
Também vou dar uma olhada bro Vasco
“Cannot be overlooked enough” lol, slow down Teddy. Quality over Quantity.
Breathe Teddy, and slow down. You and Courtney talk far too fast and this turns people off IMO. 😷
wassup teddy!!! 😎✌️
Hey man, thanks for watching!
Very similar to the Breitling Super Ocean Heritage.
Reference number?
I bought one on a brown strap for $1300 on the gray market. Only suckers pay retail.
Ugh, those seahorses on the back. I was giving it a serious look until that. Not a fan. 😑
