    This looks absolutely stunning. I am a big fan of the bronze look. Never had a Rado watch before. My last big purchase was a longines Hydroquest. I love how you break it down. This is definitely on my list now

    I am not a huge fan of bronze watches, but I have to admit that the Captain Cook looks pretty cool in bronze.

    Hey Teddy,
    I was one of the original subscribers on your other channel, but its grown by exponential amounts (congratulations!)
    So much so I doubt you’d see any of my comments.
    I want to ask, can you make a video specific ONLY to BAUHAUS watches, like a below 1k video. All I have right now are Seikos, but I love the simplicity of the Bauhaus look. Thanks!

    If I decide to buy the Captain Cook, I would go with the stainless steel model. My uncle was a big fan of Rado. My Pop was really into Mido. Myself, I like Squale. I am sure that Rado is a step up from Squale, what are your thoughts?

    • @TeddyBaldassarreReviews
      @TeddyBaldassarreReviews  3 года назад +4

      I personally would go stainless steel as well. I think the Captain Cook is a nice level up but also is a very different watch Squale so I don't think it is an easy comparison even though they are both divers. I did own 1521 from Squale and for the money I can't say it was a bad piece just not for me. I would put it in two camps, if you want a more style-forward diver with solid specs, ceramic bezel, longer power reserve I would go Rado. For squale I think it is more of a watch for that "diver fanatic" type of piece that is going to speak to the Doxa style crowd or in other words, pieces that have a more playful/retro aesthetic.

    • @gregalonzo747
      @gregalonzo747 3 года назад

      @@TeddyBaldassarreReviews, thanks. Have a look at the SqualeMatic, you might like this model. Then again, they are larger., and if memory serves, your preference is for watches a tad smaller. I do agree about Doxa. I am also one of those guys))) 😉

      i'd go for the SS green one too personally, however I dislike the fact that the indexes are not applied on that one. it looks a bit cheaper with just some paint thrown in there - the dial is so nice and glossy and a glossy frame would go nicely to delineate the luminous paint from it

    Funny I commented this watch on your review of the Golden Horse Teddy. Did I give you the idea for this vid/review.🤗🤗🤗🤗. Any chance you can find a rubber strap for this beauty. The leather strap on even a desk diver bothered me. But I bought it anyway. It's a great watch at a great price point.

    Love the watch! Any chance you will have it at 37mm? Also I would also like your opinion on which Nomos to get. I know you own an Orion but I’m debating on either a Tangente and an Orion. Which one would you pick? I’m also leaning a bit more to the Orion but it’s a hard choice. Both are great watches 😂. Thanks Teddy

    I heard that the Bronze of this watch will actually not patina, as it's technically not bronze, but the cooper is mixed with aluminum.
