Ryan, you’re either ignorant or new to the sport. There are rules and policies for a reason and one must operate within them. You can have all the aggression and testo and still function properly. But when you push the envelope and blatantly show disrespect for the game, that’s when you’ll get DQ’d
The motherrfucvker knew he was pushing the other into oncoming traffic or chairs. they know if they don't get the double you can't keep driving like a noob football player who can't tackle the running back and drives him out of bounds into the bench.. Its a bush league move. Yes get a bigger mat. Id watch that. These guys are wrestlers. Id like to see them destroy some skinny jiu jitsu guy who pulls guard as his only defense to getting pile drived
The smaller mat area was very unfortunate but as someone who used to compete, I understand the disqualification. They were both feeling some type of way and it was quickly turning into a street fight lol. My coach would tell me to go all out and hold nothing back during tournaments (which I did), so trust me I get it... But theres also a limit I can tell you with 100% certainty - if your opponent is sprinting at full speed trying to drive you off the mat, then they have passed that limit and it just got personal 😂 In case you didnt know, slamming is considered an illegal move in BJJ. Take downs are fine but if you are clearly trying to slam your opponent into the ground using brute strength thats a dq
Trying to slam your opponent into the ground using brute strength isn't a DQ in and of itself; if you hit a throw/double leg/high crotch/whatever, it's perfectly legal to smash them into the ground with all your strength. BUT, it's illegal if you're using it either to try and escape a submission hold like a triangle/armbar, if they're in guard, or if they have your back. If you're deliberately slamming them on their neck/head, that's considered a slam as well. Also, if you're competing in ADCC, defenestrate my previous statement because it's pretty much the exact opposite; in that ruleset you can slam, but only in order to escape a submission.
I didn't see anything wrong with what they were doing. It was a competition and they were going all out. The limited mat space was a problem and the fact that audience were so close to the mats was also the issue. That's a venue issue not a competitor issue. How are you going to tell someone competing not to go hard?
intentionally pushing someone off the mat and into the audience seems to be the issue. There's nothing wrong with going hard. It looked like there was clear intent to injure. Good call on the ref's part to DQ both, even though it was largely only the person in orange's fault
There's a reasonable attitude about 'competing hard', like having in mind the limited space, the proximity of the spectators. Shoving a guy towards a woman with an infant child is not 'competing hard' it's just being a psycho who doesn't have the ability to control his impulses. We all seen profesional competitions where the fighters restrain themselves in situation like that and nobody doubts they really compete hard.
@@wgjung1the woman and child shouldn’t be there in the 1st place. If they saw how aggressive these 2 were at first and still stay in place, that’s their own fault. Mostly the fault falls upon the organizers. This was a VERY small mat

I wish you many views and all the blessing of our algorithm overlords.

I love how the guy tries to act all tough. I laughed so hard when he said “I’ll fuck both of you up” like bro sit down we all know you’re not going to do nothing. Sounds like a dog barking from behind a fence 😂
There was nothing wrong with this except the venue. Those guys were crushing it, would have been epic to see this match without the restraints if a poorly laid out tourny. That all being said, I guess playing to the mat size and restrictions is a skill until itself. Can't go sacrificing yourself off a cliff in battle for a double leg.
This what it looks like when men do jiujitsu. There are abunch of soft sissies in jiujitsu. How are you gonna tell two men to slow down in a combat sports competition.
I'm not sure I think it was bc we ran into the kids. The referee also quit after the match. They let me finish the day in Gi I went 3-1 and brought home silver 🥈
Hey competitors, how does it feel to have one of the coolest bouts on the internet? This comp had everything…blood, sweat, tears…and a twerp at the end gettin all emotional. Too bad it was stopped. Congrats to both of you.
Great match, in theory I don't agree with stopping the match but practically speaking I 100% understand why he did it. They were getting really heated towards the end and had trouble staying even remotely close to the square. With spectators (including babies) sitting right at the edge of the mat, you just can't have that happening or you are going to risk someone getting seriously injured. Half the blame lies with that space (tiny squares, spectators basically on the edge of the mat). Again, this was a blast to watch, great job guys.
If you bjj, you’d already know not to judge someone by outer appearance…..there are some absolute grappling studs that are at competitions and don’t compete.
This is why you have a barrier between the audience and the competitors. It's the organisations fault for not having a safe environment plus there isn't enough space even if it was more relaxed.
Truth. Even when my 9-year-old boy competes, they only allow one coach per side and every other spectator is behind a clear barrier. Not to mention that my kid enjoys bigger mats than these two grown ass adult men do.
What? He had orange the whole time after the first takedown. Took orange’s back for the choke several times until the ref stopped it. Even in the end he reversed it and ended up on top of orange.
Right, getting all heated over a small time tourney wtf haha the DQ was a good call. Haha I just remembered a time when I saw a guy win a white belt match by points jump up, do a hulk flex, and let out a victory yell. The ref calmly told him to stop.
imagine taking your toddler kids to within 2 metres of a fight and asking the 2 guys fighting to chill out to the fighters - great job both, your fire is appreciated!
Things that were actually wrong in that match. 1- tiny square lol 2- parents, allowing kids to sit in the front row 3- idiot guy saying that he’s gonna beat both of them up lol
Love to see these two go at it again but with larger mat space and no kids in the front rows. That's a recipe for disaster in any sporting event. Very evenly matched and both were game.
Awesome match, putting it all out! Not much technique but they're still learning. And whoever would sit that close with kids is asking for an injury. Now ,if they were in class ,I agree too hard. However, competition should be given everything they have. In time, their technique will catch up. Respectfully.
I’m halfway through and just respect the heck out of both of these guys! Absolute warriors leaving it ALL out there! I hope the title is clickbait and no one does anything stupid.
I don't know why people don't study takedowns more, especially if you want to compete. Learning how to shoot/take the back from the various arm positions pays massive dividends. And you won't have to rely purely on brute strength, shooting doubles, etc. When people get frustrated, it's usually because they don't trust their technique.
How else do you get through to two dick heads who don't listen? Are you actually this stupid? Yes, you are. Also they both backed down right away. Nothing stopping them from offering him to take the others spot in the square.
That was a great match, loud guy at the end needs to find another hobby, this is grappling. If the grapplers are running out of space they need to set it up so there is a barrier between the spectators and the ring. Those were tight quarters. Great match guys!
I'm not a BJJ expert but the match looked more like college wrestling than BJJ...lol! It looked like 2 guys who had a strong wrestling backgrounds who learned BJJ. When they weren't too successful in their BJJ, they went back to their wrestling skills.
Great match, the competitors did their job and went to war. The spectators should’ve done there’s and cleared the children away from such an intense engagement though.
This is entertaining full contact BJJ, lack of barriers and the size of the mat is mainly at fault, but you would think after the first few blast doubles they would move the kids, great parenting and then wanted to act touch
Both those guys probably followed each other on IG or has a good talk. The dude who was screaming at the end is the only dude with issues. Not their fault the organization is either to incompetent or lazy to put extra mats down for out of bounds. 1 wrestling mat is almost as big as those 4 individual mats they have down its a joke. Even NAGA give you plenty of space and IBJJF doesn’t even allow you to been in the pit. If you don’t like take downs then don’t grapple
You haven't watched much bjj then... For a white belt vs blue belt they both performed right at that level and then some but for wrestings sake this was nothing.
Look at 0:10, why was that kid playing right next to the mats? And why was he still there 6 minutes later after almost getting hit a few times? It's a grappling competition, that's not a children play space.

One of the best fights on the net. The problem with this competition was that mat space was non-existent. Shame we didn't get to see a winner. Cheers from Austin, warriors.

@@SlavenOlujic so? They shouldn’t have the audience so close, and the mat space is small as hell. Not their fault. It’s a competition
@@SlavenOlujic yeah athletes that paid to compete should relax in competition and not go all out so they don’t go off the mat and run into kids who are on iPads not paying attention and eating snacks.
Do you understand how dumb that sounds? Middle school wrestler tournaments get more aggressive than this and parents don’t allow their kids to sit mat side without paying attention.
How do you blame the athletes for competing 😂 they literally shake hands after every takedown attempt.
@@GoinCrazy25-8 yeah both were good competitors. The surroundings were too small. Needed more room.

We live in a society of pussies now and give no room for men to be men anymore sadly. With the title of the video I thought these were gonna be some haymaker throwing scumbags, but honestly I don't think they did anything wrong watching this. This rinky dink excuse for a competition can't provide a space to accommodate their own event
Yeah but you have to have awareness too right? The setup was problematic, but don’t drive people into metal chairs
@@gutyourtrust right
Ryan, you’re either ignorant or new to the sport.
But theres also a limit
I can tell you with 100% certainty - if your opponent is sprinting at full speed trying to drive you off the mat, then they have passed that limit and it just got personal 😂
In case you didnt know, slamming is considered an illegal move in BJJ.
Seriously, why the tiny mat space?
@@kevinbutler6783
No, there was clear intent to bring the other guy down you idiot.
You actually believe he had beef with the kids in the front row?
@@wgjung1the woman and child shouldn’t be there in the 1st place. If they saw how aggressive these 2 were at first and still stay in place, that’s their own fault. Mostly the fault falls upon the organizers. This was a VERY small mat

@@kai_times That was good shit, fuck those refs man
My favorite part, “why’d they stop it?” 😂😂😂
Great match, in theory I don't agree with stopping the match but practically speaking I 100% understand why he did it.
I love the tough guy at the end.

@@VoltedSoldier yeah but could he fuck both of them up? Unlikely lol

Competitors werent in the wrong. The ref restarting them from the feet instead of their position caused it over and over
This is great insight

They needed the whole mat space available for that match. I’m not sure how they expect anyone over the age of 5 to compete in that little square

I don't know why people don't study takedowns more, especially if you want to compete. Learning how to shoot/take the back from the various arm positions pays massive dividends. And you won't have to rely purely on brute strength, shooting doubles, etc. When people get frustrated, it's usually because they don't trust their technique.
