Wow, beautiful voice...the pitch/ranges at certain points (& this song has MANY) in this, I think I liked even better than Anne Reburn's cover (which is VERY good)... ...this one reminds me of The Nylons version more than The Tokens (they both have emotion but Tokens seems more in the atmosphere/"background" noises, whereas Nylons put it more in the lyrics) EXTREMELY well done - this is 1 of my favourite songs ever since I was a kid, and this cover is one of the best I have heard!~
I came here to say this. It seems more 'geniune' than AR's version. You can turn this talent to a range of songs, and so long as you truly enjoy what you do, so you should. Loved hearing this. How about some Christmas carols for instance? Just a suggestion. 🙂
I, for one, am very glad I got to experience your first acapella effort. All your voices blended well, your phrasing was fine in every voice, and though you may not have sung it as a coloratura may have, the over all effort was spot on. Can't wait to hear more...
Its a nice rendition, but I must say you are singing it in a guys range. Its not impressive or anything... I know this might seem harsh but if you want to compete and make it on youtube you need to up your game. I am a guy and could sing it in full at the same notes you're singing in. People are not going to be impressed by this. You're a girl so you should be able to challenge yourself and sing way higher.
That being said good job, I am not trying to put negative vibes at you. Just for the future I would recommend challenging yourself and your range. I know you can do it!
